Dave
Woot! First-half diagnosis? Second-half diagnosis? Full-time diagnosis? Star man for United? Worst United player? Opposition comment? Toon-pros? Toon-cons? Post-match feelings?

Guest Phil K
That'll do me. By the by - why didnt anyone tell me Butt was suspended ? Here's me slagging him off for a "convenient" injury. Shit. Egg all over me face..... But happy after that result, and delighted for the Canadian lad. Belter of a goal from Milner too - he should try it more often. Guest elpapi
happy with a point having a makeshift defence, an injured keeper and 6 academy lads out of 16 (edgar, taylor, huntington, caroll,o'vrien, pattison) is nothing but spectacular! well done lads
chicago_shearer
If we knew what to do with a lead, we could have had 3 points there.
Guest SmileyCulture
Edge of my seat the whole game, not a bad performance at all considering. I had about 10 pissed off Man Utd fans right next to me the whole game, they looked gutted! lol
Dave
Delighted for the back four too, despite letting them in too easily they deserved the point we got.

Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
We really need to start shooting more from distance.
Guest Saint Andy
against all their quality, especially on the break, I'm absolutely delighted at that result! Well done lads!
oldtype
If we knew what to do with a lead, we could have had 3 points there. Well yes, but if not for a few lucky clearances, not to mention the fact that my countryman is a really, really horrendous finisher, we'd have been down 4~5 goals. The result is all that matters tbh. And I'd be happy with this result if we were fielding a full-strength team, never mind a reserve squad
stozo
If we knew what to do with a lead, we could have had 3 points there. Fucks sake man, we just got a piont against Man U with a team that picked itself and highly inexperienced back four.

Dr Spectrum
Congratulations Newcastle and that wee lad in particular bluebiggrin.gif Good day, shame Sibierski didn't get that one in at teh end of the 2nd half, going in 2-1 up would have been massive.Thought the defending was much better in the 2nd half with Solano staying back more to look after Ronaldo, I fancy you might have been able to hold on if you had gone in front again. If only eh.

Lenny
In all honesty i thought that edgar, regardless of his goal, was superb! (i said hed played well at ht as well) he looked really composed, looks a better prospect than huntington. Lets hope it wasnt just a one off!
Guest Geordie_Paul
Fantastic result I thought! Quite lucky at times but so F***
mouldy_uk
Didn't expect anything from that, so a nice surprise! Thought we played pretty well, with the young defence doing well. Best bit was Fergie & Roeder reactions to Edgars goal class! I would have loved to see how we would have done against Manure if they had such a make shift defence. Thought Martins had a poor game though he wasn't given many chances and I thought Dyer needed to get into the game more.
