OGUCHI Onyewu has taken part in his first training session with his Newcastle United team-mates.

The 24-year-old loan signing from Standard Liege joined his new United colleagues for the first time at the club's Benton-based training ground complex.

The United States international is in Glenn Roeder's squad for Saturday's trip to Craven Cottage, where the Magpies face a Fulham side just four points behind them in the Premiership.

I am happy they did not do some daft unvailing at the match last night, he is after all only a loan signing. I have high hopes that this lad will be a fantastic player for us, both Chelski and Real wnated him but he wanted regular football and a challenge, we shall see if he still feels like that after half a season here.  ;D

Never trust a man who doesn't look you in the eye when he shakes your hand tbh.

Exactly what I thought when I opened this thread up TBH. Dodgy. He'll probably have a stomer and then bugger off at the end of the year. Sly eyes.

Saw a vid on youtube and he can chuck a throw in as far as Milner can kick his corners.

Only problem with that,  is that he looks like the guy who you want to be on the end of a throw like that!

haha, it only takes a fraction of a second to take a photo, so the odds are he'd only be looking in his eyes in the picture if he fixed him in a stare for the duration of the hand shake, if someone did that to me i'd be asking what was up
