Fair play to Tony Pulis, he refused to call it SDA, he said i'm not calling it anything other than St. James' Park.

This explains it all. The old bronze statue was bought. Very interesting

The second statue, the one that stood originally at SJP, wasn't bought, isn't missing and wasn't actually bronze, it's currently sat in the sculptors back garden. It was taken away to be cast in bronze, with the view of it returning, but for some reason it never happened.

Still doesn't explain why it was commissioned in the first place when we already had a bronze statue in the city centre.

There were also plans a few years ago to bring that one back and pair it with a similar statue of Shearer, that too, obviously, never happened.

Good attempt, it's very hard to do a photoshop of it L7 all the way around due to the lack of photos - middle centre of the stand.

I did another L7 Gallowgate mock up seeing as though it's probably the best we can ever hope for.

Sort of resembles Celtic Park like this.

That is gorgeous! The Champions League centre circle cover too ......

That would be unreal, could they extend the gallowgate without having to move Strawberry Place, or build over the road? I don't think there is enough room on the current pavement outside Shearers and the club shop.

Everytime I drive past now I think how awesome it would look with Gallowgate extended.

I'd love to see it like this. I actually think it looks a bit more unique having 3 sides rather than all 4 extended as well. Gives it a bit of character.

Would love to go to them. But I'm guessing Olympic sized ticket prices :huff:

£20,£30 & £40 for the group double headers - 2 games one after the other.

Dunno when they go back on sale though.

Would've been great to see the US play there, little cunts.

Sometimes there is just no stopping that powerhouse of world football that we know as Honduras.

Surely nine of the matches will be anywhere near a sellout? Might get tickets closer to the time like.

Assuming you mean none and not nine I agree.

If I get to see Ronaldinho play at St James' Park, my 14-year-old self may wank himself to death.

He's a glorified testimonial player these days, but I agree. Will be class seeing him play.

Doubtful he'll be in. Brazil will take it seriously, they proper lust after the Olympics as they've never won it plus it's going to be their only 'competitive' football before WC2014.
