Abacus
Darren you've got to let us know. Should we stay or should we go? If we go there will be trouble, but if we stay it would be double.

Only sat there for one game (ZDS Cup against Oldham for a treat, probably £2 entry or something) and totally forgot about that happening but recall it vividly now. Even then remember intra-stand banter "The Benches" to the United tune aimed at the Gallowgate. Weird cos usually I stood in the Gallowgate at the time. You knew there’d been a bad tackle or a contentious decision when the ‘benches’ all stood up as one and started going radge.
Whitley mag
According to Edwards the new structure, bowl, Square, or whatever it is, stands taller than the current SJP so should still be imposing over the city. Hopefully, suggests steep stands like Everton’s new stadium and not some foreign style shallow bowl. Edited 7 hours ago by Whitley mag

Think the benches had some of the biggest radgies in the stadium, abiding memory was the play off semi against the mackems, before start of 2nd half Gabbiadini comes over towards the touch line and gets dogs abuse, the dirty little cunt then proceeded to spit on his boot and kick it towards the benches, we moved up to the East Stand Gallowgate wing the following season and that was also fucking brilliant. Turnbull2000
If it's going to dominate the sky line, surely a bowl structure isn't the way to go. Won't tie in with the cityscape at all. Would much rather have a modernised version of our current large stands.

I think it depends what constitutes a bowl design really, I don’t think Spurs stadium looks nice from the outside with all that cladding and looks dull. But Eales oversaw the Mercedes Benz in Atlanta and this is basically a bowl with some different shapes attached really. A bowl could be anything until we see the first images and I wouldn’t say no to any of these.

Turnbull2000
If they auction off parts of the old ground, I wonder what the Gallowgate pigeon will fetch? Little fella could do it's part for PSR
SEMTEX
There's a big ol metal falcon sculpture outside of the Mercedes Benz. I don't really want to move from SJP but I'd sign off on it if we get a massive metal Shola Eating an Apple x Riding a Bicycle.

Now imagine the uproar if that was Newcastle.

Some of these are impressive in terms of scale and, in the case of the MB Stadium, design - but I'd prefer any new stadium to actually look like a football stadium. Seems everything is either gimmicky or souless bowly.

nufcjb
Do something imposing like this on the outside. and can have the bowl all you like on the inside like this. But surely needs a minimum 70000 if not 75000?
