Scotswood Road is on the Russian hit list if they attack the U.K, good to see the Toon is ready to repel them.

Given the Russians have spent 4 years not making any progress at all against Ukraine, they’ve got nee fucking chance if they go up against the Scotchy Mad Dogs

A reminder that the club are actively  choosing not to build a stadium on top of the an oil rig which would allow the best of both worlds.

Breaking news.

Utility lines need to be moved before construction can start. Hardly the massive barrier he was leading people on about.

He didn’t say it was a massive barrier just highlighted an issue which is a tricky one. Even trickier also when they supply the main hospital. Something else that needs to coordinated carefully.

It's almost as if he said it deliberately so people would click the link to find out more

He’s not that type of person TBH. Also the link was 21hrs apart so wouldn’t really work as you imply

Do you know the lad ?

Can't get my head round how a lawyer persistently posts things on the Twatter under his own name that are allegedly top secret details about a new stadium.

Not saying the utility line thing is top secret, that'll be widely available. But he's posted other claims that haven't been shared publicly by any other sauce, so if they're true are presumably NDA'd or at the very least confidential.

If I want to carry out some confidential legal work, I'm probably not going to engage the services of a lawyer who blabs all over the Twatter with alleged ITK info about very high profile confidential activity.

Seems very odd to me that he's so keen to spout off about what he allegedly knows.

Not really.

The new HMRC is building is where there was a massive substation that had to be replaced. The substation powered the vast majority of the city centre, it was able to be replaced without any down time at all.

Getting to know him. He’s not a lawyer or attached to the project.

It clearly is. If you mess up a power cable to an office block then not ideal. Mess up a power cable to a hospital would clearly cause a bigger outcry.

The RVI has back up generators. They only take seconds to kick in and new ones can detect potential power loss via a super capacitor so that there is no down time on switchover. They would have a generator running ahead of a connection switchover regardless.

Lastly I’d question this guys inside info. He’s made a few claims about the club before and not been proven right at any point. He was noticeably quiet about the clubs training ground developments as well, both for the new training, and in regards to the current training ground.

The cables still need to be removed because of the oil. Is that “another obstacle” as all that was ever stated? Yes. Is it a big one? No… but it was only you who claimed he said it was a big one which he didn’t…. Another/Big. See the difference. Cmon Chris I shouldn’t need to mansplain to you

The guy doesn’t profess to have inside knowledge he just shares relevant knowledge. Again a big difference. It’s not his job to keep anyone informed about NUFC building projects. He might shock… never had any relevant information to share so shock… didn’t share anything and decided to shock… not just make stuff up

You are getting far too triggered with anything to do with NUFC’s building projects

But I still love ya… :rose:

Ah mate, I’m not taking anything personally. I’ve just seen him spout quite a bit about the new stadium, non of which has either lined up with what has been reported or sometimes he just repeats what’s been reported as his own. As we all know, we have heard ITK’s about every subject of NUFC and it’s a bit tiresome really.

I just don’t think that if these cables exist, they will be a massive obstacle, and I find it hard to believe that such important cables like these would not have been mapped and known about, especially as it seems to go under the Leazes end which would have had mean they were either installed or at least known about when level 7 was added.

I also find it annoying and attention seeking that he made the first post which is cryptic last night, and didn’t post the added context to it until this morning.
