Interpolic
Sorry, just had visions of Wor Jackie with a Sports Direct shopping bag in one hand and one of those massive mugs in the other.
Sifu
*shudders* You've just given me visions of that as well. Unpleasant Someone is blatantly going to have a go on photoshop later on today...
Guest bimpy474
Fair play to Tony Pulis, he refused to call it SDA, he said i'm not calling it anything other than St. James' Park.
David Icke - Son of God
be nice to have one for joe harvey, one for colin veitch and one for (nominee needed) so there's a statue at each corner of the ground. Shola.
Anderson
http://www.nufc.com/advent2011/2011-advent-10.html This explains it all. The old bronze statue was bought. Very interesting The second statue, the one that stood originally at SJP, wasn't bought, isn't missing and wasn't actually bronze, it's currently sat in the sculptors back garden. It was taken away to be cast in bronze, with the view of it returning, but for some reason it never happened. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/evening-chronicle-news/2011/08/25/family-reunited-with-forgotten-milburn-statue-72703-29299945/ Still doesn't explain why it was commissioned in the first place when we already had a bronze statue in the city centre. There were also plans a few years ago to bring that one back and pair it with a similar statue of Shearer, that too, obviously, never happened. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/evening-chronicle-news/2008/06/06/statues-of-legends-shearer-and-milburn-revealed-72703-21034065/
TheGuv
Shame the Milburn and Shearer one's weren't done. They'd look great on Barrack Road
toonpete1892
Good attempt, it's very hard to do a photoshop of it L7 all the way around due to the lack of photos - middle centre of the stand. I did another L7 Gallowgate mock up seeing as though it's probably the best we can ever hope for. http://i41.tinypic.com/dwf3bo.png Sort of resembles Celtic Park like this. That is gorgeous! The Champions League centre circle cover too ......
Adam
That would be unreal, could they extend the gallowgate without having to move Strawberry Place, or build over the road? I don't think there is enough room on the current pavement outside Shearers and the club shop. Everytime I drive past now I think how awesome it would look with Gallowgate extended. Gives it a bit of character.

Disco
Would love to go to them. But I'm guessing Olympic sized ticket prices £20,£30 & £40 for the group double headers - 2 games one after the other. Dunno when they go back on sale though.

SEMTEX
That's what happens when you play Freddy Adu. Y'all should take a look at his goal vs Chivas at the weekend. Fucking awful.

He's a glorified testimonial player these days, but I agree. Will be class seeing him play.
Disco
Doubtful he'll be in. Brazil will take it seriously, they proper lust after the Olympics as they've never won it plus it's going to be their only 'competitive' football before WC2014.
