Kinda has a retro look to it, I honestly thought it was a hoax kit from the other thread.  Not sure who the

photoshop wizard is who put it together, but adding some shadows couldn't have hurt.

Might be too much black on the shoulders for me, but it's getting better the more I look at it.

It's a fair enough top, to be honest, all this talk of utter "dogshite" and stuff has made me smile though, what a ridiculous bunch we harbour sometimes. I mean, what exactly are you expecting? We have a top with black and white stripes, we're kind of limited to what we could do with it.

Of course there's parts of it that aren't great, it's not even remotely my "favourite" top down the years, but it's not nearly as bad as some reactions have suggested.

shouldnt the stiffs at the adidas design department take a leaf out of udinese's current home jersey instead? now thats a creative andradical representation of how a black and white striped jersey should look like.

i hate the fact that the new jersey has too much stiff boring vertical lines. too many stripes. too fat and thick black bars

shi-tiest ever jersey, hey even topping the god-awful "retro" champions league jersey.

Personally I quite like it.

I don't agree with the following but would like to hear your views.

What do you think of the accusation made (on another forum I post on) that it "makes a mockery of the the tradition and history that surrounds the club. The Adidas stripes should not be there - the sleeve should be black and white stripes"

I think whoever wrote this wants to get their head out of their arse to be honest. For fucks sake. Tradition this, tradition that. That kind of talk really amuses, but irritates me.

Took the words right out my mouth, mate.

I was really looking forward to today's launch of the full kit but when I saw it,I was hugely disappointed.I dont like the middle part at all.It looks weird having the club logo in the middle of the shirt.I know that they are trying to do something different, but I dont think that is what I had in mind.Anyway,I still going to buy it to follow the trend.

Looking at the picture Skirge posted and the current kit in his sig, it seems to be basically a mirror image (Swap the black and the white) of the current kit, add a collar (ugh), some god awful short design thingymawotsit and central logos. Those boys at Adidas are really earning their money, I bet that took them about 30 seconds to design.

Its a good job nobody but kids buys shorts, I don't know WTF is going on there...whats wrong with black shorts? Ive always prefered simpler kits but modern ones seem to be full of unceccasary details (probably to beat far eastern conterfeiters...). At least most of you who buy this will avoid that monstrosity.

I'd give it a 4/10...Altho I'd probably give it a 7/10 if I hadn't seen those shorts :idiot2:

Personally have always thought the Adidas stripes look really good. And after all - it resembles black and white stripes.

What i don't like is lots of sponsors here and there, and silly piping that doesn't resemble anything (the Diadora spots on some kits' sleeves in-particular confuse me), which i feel can somewhat spoil the heritage of kits. Hardly 'make a mockery of the tradition', but it's certainly a shame in some cases.

Don't really mind the badge central, but the adidas logo above it should be shifted though.
