Rich
If Titus is heading South then this could have some mileage in it as he'll be the last man standing out of his assembled "posse". Smacks of cheek to me as well after some of his antics over the years, I think people are entitled to be a bit peeved if it is true. Other than that I will personally be gutted if we don't get a Kieron Dyer testimonial to attend.
Cronky
When he first got back into the team after his long lay off he was in great form, there was a hunger in him to do well and show what a good player he is,but that good form has gone...why?..because he's back in the England squad, back in his comfort zone, his main priority in live when it comes to football is playing for England,he couldn't give a s*** about NUFC,I hope this is true because i hate the little s***,I'll always give 100% support to anyone who puts on a black & white shirt but I honestly think he's a waster, good riddance. Please let it be true I agree with the first part, not the second. When he came back from injury, he turned our season round. Without him, we'd be in the position that West Ham are in now. His form took a dip after the Alkmaar game. Since then, he's looked out of sorts and it wouldn't surprise me if he's fallen out with Roeder (and he may not be the only one). Roeder played him out of position in Alkmaar, and the whole game was a tactical mess. Bramble then ended up being publicly made the scapegoat, which was all wrong. Perhaps Dyer is a bit quick to get shirty, but I think Roeder handled the Alkmaar defeat very badly and a number of the players are probably pi$$ed off. I think Dyer's head dipped well before the AZ game, was around the start of Feb for me, he just started to go through the motions, i put it down to not knowing what its like to play more than 3 games in a row. Baggio
Replace with SWP and we'll be laughing. I wonder if Mourinho would do a straight swap? He was looking to offload SWP in the January offering him in a swap deal for Baros, I think Dyer would do much better than SWP in Chelsea's 4-3-3 formation where as SWP would suit our 4-4-2 much better, Chelsea could also match his wages. Guest Phil K
Interesting. Dyer buggers us about for several seasons, barely playing, being payed ludicrous amounts for being perpetually on the sick, and this is how he says thank you. I recall saying he'd do this last season and this - and was ranted at by several of you. Care to apologize ? A Phil K special. I recall telling everyone about this, and LOOK! I was right. Form an orderly queue and grovel.[/Phil K] To be fair Phil, you talk an inordinate amount of s*** too. Sometimes ranting like a crazy man. I don't make you apologise every time you're wrong, so I don't think you should ask for an apology on the odd occasion you get something right. ...and you were one of those referred to. And the attitude you took THEN was curiously similar to this post NOW. ie - mouthy crap. And when it comers to talking s****, matey, I've got some distance to go to match you. Wit ? Well it rhymes with wit anyways....
Guest NSMagpie
Apparently Dyer has requested a transfer, maybe it is time for both parties to part company?? Whats your thoughts? I don't think that would be devastating, but, as Thommo 78 put it, the fact that someone who is, deservingly or not, perceived as one of our best players wants out is not good for the club. Besides, this situation reminds of rumours about Owen. NUFC invested lots of money in Dyer, he was offered a high-earning 4 year contract when no one could tell if and when he would play again. He is indebted to the club, if he doesn't see it, he's lacking character off the field (just as he is on the field, despite undeniable talent). I just hope Michael Owen will show more character. Cajun
I think Gera is on a free transfer in the summer or I am sure Routledge would be availble for fairly cheap. Would be good back-ups/competition for Milner and on half the wage (at the most!).

lovejoy
what a little prick if true. cant say i would be too sad to see him go like. it still takes the piss that he is going to let us pay him through one injury after another, and then as soon as he looks to be sorted, ask for a transfer. i didnt think he looked interested yesterday
Dunedin
What worriesme the most about this is that it looks a possibility that Gormless Glen will still be manager next year. Welcome to a season from hell !!! We were lucky to get away with it this time but will be as lucky next year ? All the good players are going to want to go. No prospect of European football for season after next as we are heading for the lower reaches of the premiership with that useless tw*t in charge. If we are waiting for Shearer then let's bl**dy get on with it sooner than later although who knows what he will be like as a manager.

Guest Gemmill
Not too sure about all the "What a little greedy bastard" comments tbh. He's been at NUFC for a while now and is probably as disenchanted as the fans with how far we've fallen in his time here. Now you can argue that he may have contributed to that fall, but ultimately he has to look after himself and his own career - he is no different to any other footballer in that he gets paid while he's injured - that's not his fault - and he's certainly been injured a lot because of the ineptitude of the management at this club - he's been rushed back from injury plenty and never been given the proper medical treatment that he needed until last year, Christ if we'd taken the time to get him that specialist treatment sooner, we could have had him fully fit for YEARS now. There's a good chance he feels pretty bitter about that, and who wouldn't?! I'm not painting him as being the victim or having been wronged here, but there's more to it than just OMG WE PAID YOU MONEY WHEN YOUR LEG HURT AND NOW YOU'RE LEAVING!!111 If I was him, at 28 and not local to the area, I'd be thinking of trying to get out of NUFC too. Especially if I thought Spurs were interested - sorry like, but they are far and away a more attractive prospect than we are at the minute to any footballer with a brain in his head. Big Geordie
I won't shed any tears if he goes - even better if we get some sort of fee for him. He arrived at the club with great potenital - but since he's been here - has flattered to decieve. Think he averages 20-25 games a season for us and 2-3 goals. Simply not good enough - and that's not counting his awful off the field behaviour. One of Souness' worst mistakes was giving this little @rsehole a new deal and a hefty pay rise. He did hit some form once he came back from injury this season, but typically lost interest as soon as he'd made the England squad. The sooner he leaves the club - the better. Dyer =
Guest Gemmill
His awful off the field behaviour basically amounts to pissing in the street when drunk, acting a twat when drunk, and driving his car fast - something that pretty much everyone on here will have done on more than one occasion. Always makes me laugh when you read the "Daft thing you've done when drunk" type threads on Gen Chat, and then you come on the NUFC Forum to find people moralising over Dyer/ Bramble/whoever being a bit of a twat after a few drinks. Karjala
First of all i dont believe the rumour. Dyer is picking up money that he wont pick up at any other club who would want him, pretty much in the world. Dyer also knows he's got a unstable relationship with fans due to his previous exploits and i dont think he would come out and say he wants to leave, further pi**in the fans off. Plus, if he thinks we are getting worse and worse, where else is he gonna play for a team thats getting better n better, and is better than us? Not many clubs. If it is true, which i really hope it is, i'd flog him for anything above £3m. He owes NUFC fans a lot, picks up ridiculous money, is usually injured and when he does play, he is mostly ineffective. He is not a striker, not a right winger, and many people on here wouldnt have him in a starting CM position, so i dont know where he should play! I wrote on another thread, that i think NUFC is 'just part of life' for Dyer n Bungle, and they'll be desperate to stay, for what they get and what they give in return. IF Bungle is leaving, maybes Dyer will miss his best mate and want to leave too? PLEASE BE TRUE!
Big Geordie
Gemmill - he suffered from the trappings of wealth and position. Surely with that though comes a responsiblity to conduct yourself accordingly ? His treatment of SBR at the Boro away game was the finish for me with him - then came the fight with Bowyer.
