Guest Lenny007
Does no-one suspect that the reason for the extra £2m on Dyer's contract was due to the possibility of losing Nobby to these feckers and we're trying to get something back? Or should i take the tin-foil off my head?

I doubt it, if they knew that West Ham were after Nobby and they wanted £2 million for him then I would have thought they would have just quoted the figure rather than tying it in with another player. Dokko
So, who would take £1m for him now, or am i going to get lynch mobbed again?
Mr. Snrub
Definitely not me. Solano has never been a pacey player, so he can be just as good this season as he was 4/5 years ago. On the ball he's our most intelligent player and his crosses/set pieces are top notch. Would be criminal to let him go for 1m, imo.
Guest firetotheworks
So, who would take £1m for him now, or am i going to get lynch mobbed again? Not now I wouldnt. maybe at the start of the transfer window and for £1.5 at least because of the inflated transfer prices. Too late to get anyone in now to replace him and gel in time. Magpie
He probably wouldn't get in the starting 11...but his experience would be sorely missed IMO. And still by miles the best crosser of the ball we have, or have had for god knows for how long!!!

Guest mobiius
Is it just the fact that i am missing something right in front of my eyes but is this just not a case of anal oliVERSION releasing a story yesterday then making more of it today and referring to his story yesterday as a you heard my bollocks 1st in Wednesdays edition so today its common knowledge when I've seen nowt else except references to his story. There is no fair play to the slink especially not when he is putting his name to a story that the day before the start of the season has the potential to cause a bit of unrest in the camp. It puzzles me where he can come up with statements like "In the meantime, unless he gets a late recall, Solano is not in the United squad for tomorrow’s game with Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium." has BSA started releasing his squad sheet to oliVERSION the day before i very much doubt it. But then again BSA might just of put all the previous unsettling bollocks this pleb has written behind him and start the new season with the local media behind him all the way

OzzieMandias
What is it with West Ham and our players? Have they got, like, just one scout and he happens to be based on Tyneside?

OzzieMandias
It's funny how Oliver's credibility is now so low that whatever he writes we all just automatically assume it's bollocks.

But seriously, I think it's pretty obvious by now that the "smoke" is not just coming from Anal, and that the "fire" is real. In keeping with quite a few posts above, I'd say that if Nobby wants to leave, then there's little point in us trying to keep him here, but I'd certainly be placing a premium price on his head, especially where West Ham are concerned. "psychoanalyst" ha ha i think not. i agree, if he is going to go then we should get as much as possible for him. I personally would not like to see him go as he provides good cover, which over the coming season we will no doubt need, given our injury record.
