Dalglish had a great eye for a player. Clouded by us being skint when he came in so we had to hire a few oldies but he's signed some great players over the years. Carroll would be viewed a lot differently without the injuries.

"On about", "but if","that may". Do you not think there's a reason its designed the way it is, like the champions league ? To maintain the status quo and stop the formation of a breakaway "super league".

Exactly this. As long as the gullible & needy keep clicking and sharing the lies, then journo’s will keep pumping out the lies Just ignore the Twatter and the clickbait articles. Don’t click on them Because when you do, you’re simply feeding the beast and the cycle continues Bobby says… Relax, don't do it When you want to go to it Relax, don't do it When you want to click

More he’ll be delighted as Chelsea will comfortably pay £60m+, which we were clearly reluctant to do (and rightly so). Jokes that for both of the striker options, Chelsea have signed them Not sure who we turn too now, as Delap and Pedro are so different it shows it’s an evolving landscape of who we are targeting. Like do we now go for a lower price ST and big on CM? As Pedro I could’ve seen being more towards CM whilst ticking striker box, whilst Delap was an opportunistic low cost ST and maybe then getting a low cost CM for £25m (a la Ramsey).

I do feel like we need 4 minimum but we could easily do two in the last couple of days of the window. The issue is a simple one, we are losing out to players because clubs with more financial clout are blowing us out the water. There's 2 major international tournaments that have been going on, which means many transfers are on a standstill. You've got footballers and their families on holidays and you have the PSR deadline which can affect other clubs movement, which has a ripple effect. Just to add some positivity, there's been loads of players we've missed out on the past, who've ended up tanking when going elsewhere, Mount, Maddison, Lingard, Coutinho and so on. We will sign Trafford in the next fortnight, we will have someone else on their way soon after, that sets us up to attack the rest of the window.

Yeah I never ever believed that. Then people saying he dived on purpose when he was trying to get Krul(?) sent off because he didn't want to score. I think that was all just protecting their mind from the reality that he wanted to leave his boyhood club for Liverpool. He went for the bag and the bigger team, like most do, and it was naive to think otherwise.

Yep, but does feel that this season gone it was a case of drain out all the last of we could from this squad. Needs some serious fresh faces, talking 4/5 strong faces to give us a kick because some will be drained.

Wasn't last summer supposed to be the worst window ever? We literally went on to win a cup and qualify for the CL. I think we'll be cush with only a couple of quality additions this time round

I dont understand the constant negativity around our transfers. Our transfer record has been very good and our results on the pitch fantastic. I'll bet you that we sign more than 2 good players.

Once again, Eddie was right, we have been slow off the mark and missed out on Mbeumo, Guehi and now Joao Pedro. Our directors need to listen to him better.

But why would he agree to that? edit: Sorry, being stupid. He agrees because he wants to move and they wouldn’t accept the bid otherwise? Makes sense though doesn’t suit the narrative of the day, which was that he was being somehow bullied into moving
