On a planet of 8 billion? Yep, probably going to have to agree with you.
-
It would make it a lot harder for us to sign him if Liverpool bought him though, we might have to wait until next summer to put another bid in.
-
I'd be pumped to see Guehi go to Liverpool tbh, do not want him here if it was up to me.
-
I got kicked out! We were in the front row of the Darwin End, he scored up at the other end, I hurdled the fence and almost got onto the pitch but was wrestled to the ground by 2 stewards. Got kicked out and went and sat on the minibus waiting for everyone else to come out. Match finished, 10 mins went past, then 20, then half and hour and not a soul back on the bus. Found out later the whole away end stopped back for best part of an hour singing in support of Keegan who had just sold Andy Cole

He is a super safe passer of the ball, but is more of a ball carrier in that position. Will take a ton of time adjusting to the PL by all accounts.

Something just doesn’t seem quite right about paying more than double for a player who has pretty much stayed around the same level as his previous club. Not saying he’s a bad player or anything, just the fee seems all wrong. Has he done anything since his move to Brighton to warrant doubling in price?
-
Last I heard the girlfriend he has/ had is fucking minted. I doubt this will affect him unless that’s gone tits up.
-
Should have been all over that Diomande transfer
-
Exactly… Liverpool and Man City aside it’s debatable who’s massively strengthened. Chelsea I guess but they were ahead of us as stated.
-
Had two of them already though, so in terms of how much ‘stronger’ they are from the end of last season, it’s basically negligible (unless you want to count the manager, which I suppose is fair enough)
-
Any pre July movement for us would be Villa (?) and I’ve a feeling WHU as they seem to be ripping it up and starting again (?) Maybe Forest also (?) … sure others will know better who’s borderline PSR… Everton, Burnley and Leicester?
-
Tel from Bayerb Danso from Brentford Vuscokvic from Hajuk
-
highly doubtful we get any business done in June, luckily July is close, probably new PSR period will bring more action... I wouldnt sell any important player Livramento or Isak, unless we can force obscene offer out of Big 6. we have more than enough task to strengthen the first 11 and the bench especially for next season where we will have lot more games, injuries, fatigue etc. to replace outgoing crucial players would be too much extra stuff to deal with especially without a proper DoF in place.

Exactly 👍🏻 Some who’ve signed more have lost players also.
-
I’d take him for £65m right now - I mean, who else is left!

Proving it can be done - https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jun/20/london-city-lionesses-make-statement-signing-of-danielle-van-de-donk-wsl Also, confirmation of the WSL expansion, making it an even more important (off) season.

Signings so far, hardly quiet 4 - Brighton, Burnley, Chelsea, Man City 3 - Brentford, Liverpool, Spurs 2 - Bournemouth 1 - Villa, Everton, Leeds, Man Utd, Newcastle, Sunderland, West Ham, Wolves 0 - Arsenal, Palace, Fulham, Forest

England u19s on iPlayer vs the Netherlands. Feeling very old seeing Jan Vennegor of Hesselink’s kid playing for the Dutch.
