  1. Past hour
  2. I’d happily take Garnacho. Think he’s ceiling is so high and it’s proper dumb from Man Utd to get rid.
  3. You're on the right lines here, but not the Uni. Hmm, maybe if it's not obvious straight away then it's back to the drawing board.
  4. Garnacho available for £50m. More G&A than Elanga last season and 3 years younger. He's a great lad too. Top professional.
  5. He's not as fast as Elanga but more technical and probably more creative overall. I don't think he'd have an issue adapting to the physicality of the PL but probably doesn't have the insane training routine of Elanga. Agree on Elliott. Looks good for the U21s but in a four front season-long campaign I wouldn't want him as our main RW.
  6. Is the shirt to do with the art/architecture thing in the university?
  7. Assume the socks are a nod to the Northumberland flag but no idea otherwise.
  8. It's never been referenced before basically. It's Newcastle (not the club) based though
  9. Haven't seen him tbh, don't really follow overseas football. Does he have the same physicality Elanga? I have seen some commentators rave about Harvey Elliott as an alternative but he's not got the pace or the strength that Elanga would bring.
  10. I've been collecting shirts for over 40 years and have no idea what this is referencing.
  11. they wouldn’t change the blue star to green or white or anything to suit an away top
  12. I just don't understand using this kit as inspiration really. Reminds me of a shit period for the club and is a really dodgy design as well
  13. Definitely, I don't mind the home one but the pro collar is much better than the fan version.
  14. Entering a competition soon with some Newcastle kit designs I've done. Totally get that there'll be people who think this design is shite, but just as a disclaimer, the idea with this one is to do something a bit out there and original. My question to you is this, can you tell from looking at this what Newcastle-associated thing influenced the design/colour scheme (jokes aside). That's all I'm asking. Trying to work out whether it's obvious or I'm reaching a bit.
  15. Akliouche fits the general Howe blueprint in that he works very hard and intelligently off the ball, but imagine Monaco would be demanding in the same region of what Forest want for Elanga (£60-70m)
  16. The brown ale text on the originl one was orange, and differed for all of the aways back then.
  17. I've still not seen many credible alternatives to Elanga put forward. The alternatives like Semenyo and Kudus are being quoted at even higher prices, and for some reason I just don't see any overseas names which look like they'll fit Howe's blueprint. I doubt we would want to pay that sort of money for a player who might be at risk of adapting to the PL, so if we do go abroad it will probably be a younger player with potential, not one for the first team.
  18. Oh man. Donate a goal bonus or two to me my guy
  19. If we've bid £50M for him and Brighton "want closer to £60M" that sounds fairly reasonable. You'd hope that the difference of £6/7M could be negotiated pretty easily over the next week or so.
  20. sela probably don’t have a set colour where as noon are known for being yellow.
