Be a bit difficult for both Forest and Chelsea to be winning.
-
The squeakiest of squeaky bum time if we are 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go and everyone else is winning....

Owners, still the Venky’s amazingly, have fucked it off

Probably the same as Reading - money. Trouble at Wolverhampton also, as the club didn't put the application form in to join the championship. The players were only told before their last game and so they played the whole season for nothing. The lasses seemingly are disgusted by this, so Wolves may have to find a whole new team. Again they reckon it's due to money.
-
Such a chip on his shoulder.
-
Why would they pull out?

I'm just looking forward to a transfer window when there is no shite about no signings coming in. I actually think it will be a busy transfer season window for us incoming and outgoing.
-
Because he's shown he can still be very influential there. If Isak moonlighting at LW every now and then meant having to carry one less specialist LW in the squad and being able to invest in another area of weakness then that's a fair trade IMO, much rather see Isak at LW than Krafth or Targett starting meaningful games for example as not sure Trippier can be relied on for another season. I don't feel too strongly either way but if they sign a RW as expected and invest a decent sum at CF as well then I think they may look at Barnes as expendable in a PSR world.

Congrats to @GavMcEl who top scored in the penultimate gameweek with 28 against the average of 21.05. @Pokerprince2004 extends his lead at the top and I think it's all over bar the shouting. Four people scored the maximum 10 points with their bonus game, two going for Villa to win 2-0 and the other two going for Everton to also win 2-0. No one blanked!!! Gameweek 38 - the final deadline 16.00 Sunday 25th May 2025 Bournemouth v Leicester Fulham v Man City Ipswich v West Ham Liverpool v Palace Man United v Villa Newcastle v Everton Forest v Chelsea Southampton v Arsenal Spurs v Brighton Wolves v Brentford

Aye he reminds me of Maxi. On his day an absolute nightmare to play against, but, those days are in the minority. Mbueno would be my choice by a mile.

I'm going on that we are a far better team player for player and also that if the team has the same determination as they did in the semi against Arsenal and the final against Liverpool, we will just have far too much for a team with nothing to play for. -

Not seen anything of him at Everton (never watch any of their games except against us), I was quite impressed with him when he was at Southampton though. You're right about Doucoure, but that could also be down to Moyes preferring a stronger presence in midfield. -

Opposite for me. My ADHD riddled, overthinking prone brain has decided Everton are akin to prime Barcelona. Proper dreading it.

Glad I turned off that shit. Fucking City.

He wasn’t on Sunday when he came on, he was shite. But I will admit to not seeing a great deal of him/Everton in general, so perhaps that was just an isolated poor cameo. Although if he’s so much better than Doucoure, surely he would be getting picked ahead of him?
-
No I don't think he would, but if an offer comes in, which matches (or goes above) the valuation, then he may well do. He accepts this as per his interview and as I said above, I'm convinced if his release clause has been activated, he would have been sold.
-
Just make it stop please. We have one of the world's best number nines. Why would you even contemplate shifting him out wide to accommodate a lesser number nine?
-
But would Bruno actually leave if we didn’t have the need to sell him? If Barcelona or Real Madrid don’t come in for him then he wouldn’t leave
-
Also that video was absolutely amazing. It showed that through his parents and friends (him looking after his friends and vice versa was great to see), he was raised in a very loving and caring environment. We all know what a special person he is and that video illustrated totally the reasons why. He's not on the pitch though which is great to see.

It was done over a year ago as it's the bones of 2 years since Wilson has been fit and able but he'd be a serviceable option there if Gordon was out and there was another quality striker to lean on, the assist at Everton when he was playing there was one of his best moments in a Newcastle shirt.
-
Likewise. And if our overlords and masters want him for one of their home nation clubs, I suspect we’ll agree to the (overinflated) fee, too Bruno’s fantastic, a top gadgie and happily sits in my favourite NUFC XI. But footballers aren’t something to become too emotionally attached to - they all leave.
