Think Eddie is old school and likes control of everything in terms of 1st team recruitment, have a feeling the short tenures of Ashworth and Mitchell will make anyone already employed like Ward think twice. We need someone to oversee the academy, youth recruitment and infrastructure such as new training ground, but this role will need to be clearly defined to any candidate and rubber stamped by Howe as it’s clearly not working with a DOF.
