I tend to agree. There's a fine line between "winning fouls" and "diving" like. I actually think VAR has contributed to the former though as any contact is almost deemed legitimate means to go down and thus has professionalised cheating.
-
Replacing our best player with a non-scoring striker might hurt as bit, sure.
-
I am sure you all would, and I respect that. You know who the better player is though. It could be a long summer.
-
I don't like cheating,it needs to be eliminated from the game all together. I don't know how to do that though. I'd just rather win a game through hard work and creativity up front instead of resorting to diving. I'm clearly in the minority though so what's the point in me arguing my case.
-
The more they get carried away the more I'm certain they'll fail.
-
I think Coventry will be raging after that first game - could be interesting tomorrow. And no, I don’t want the mackems promoted. Derby games always throw up more uncertainty for the better side and we don’t want that in a game against one of the three relegation fodder.
-
I don't mind the Blades, but would love to see Cov back in the PL. After losing so unfortunately in the play-off final in 2023 and being cheated out of an FA Cup final in 2024, they deserve a break on the third time of asking.
-
Why not? Burn Tonali Joelinton Bruno Miley Murphy Isak Osula Barnes Wilson
-
1 at the back, 4 in midfield and 5 up front is the reverse. I hope we don't go with that lineup... 🤣
-
Do you reckon a new striker fixes your woes @Froggy
-
Aye they’re all very sure it’s job done. I definitely wouldn’t be counting any chickens in a semi final if we were only winning by 1 at half-time.

Would rather have our Bruno than yours.

[Robson Green levels of desperate fishing 🎣]
-
Hope not. Just give us a seasoned striker in the summer please.
-
motd2 on the iplayer
-
Of course you can. He's the best midfielder in the league. Swap Isak for Hojlund next season and we finish above you. Unfortunately Isak is off to Arsenal though.
-
Cant include a guy who is captain(?) for a team with under 40 points.
-
That's just his attacking stats mate, which are always elite. His defensive stats can match up to most as well. Even in the likes of ball recoveries I think only Caicedo has won it more. He's just a monster all over the pitch. Brave of you to say it hasn't led to much though. He's saved us from relegation.
-
Aye - that is fair. I just don't think he's a particularly great leader from my admittedly limited experiences of him. Tend to find him being a spoiled brat and a bit of a similar ilk to Ronaldo where things like aren't his fault like ever. Could be wrong but that's my perception.
-
Very good.
-
3-0 United, 6-0 on aggregate. The blades are walking this playoff. If the mackems get past Coventry, reckon they'll still get rogered by this lot. Time to polish up on the Sean Bean bastard impression for the final - If the mackems even make it there.
-
Maybe having the 12 players would make it illegal too, the Arsenal fuckwit
-
He does have a case at 8 goals and 9 assists but unlike Cunha's contributions, it hasn't led to much.
-
I’ll accept. We all love our own shithouses though.
