You'd know about receding hairlines Rocker son.
-
Thanks mate, I've not been keeping up with other teams as much as previous years. I just remember people were fawning over him a relatively short while ago.
-
Yeah, but... look at us. How can you say we're not paying for this? We're quite clearly trying to fix the wage bill and transfer situation as well.
-
Couple of bald cunts arguing over a comb.
-
He was terrible for at least 6 months of the season.
-
Been done mate, several times

I've spent 15 years on this forum. I feel like I'm as well placed as any opposition fan to understand how bad it was under Ashley/Pardew etc. and I fully supported you in your revolts against the ownership. Do you think there's a chance that maybe the shoe is on the other foot, and maybe you don't know just how bad the Glazer ownership has been? Maybe we're both being ignorant? Anyway, I really don't want to continue this here. I know I can get carried away and derail threads when the discussion involves my club, and I genuinely hate doing that. Happy to post away in the Man United thread.

I thought people were big on Semenyo? What's happened?
-
Really hope we don’t go for Semenyo.
-
I don't.
-
Don’t let Froggy ruin our own transfer thread with his Man U bs.
-
Can't have it both ways and celebrate out blue/secret transfers like Tonali then moan not getting updates.
-
I very much doubt it. Most their starting 11 are worth between £20-£80 million, and that's without factoring in the generational talents. I see them top 3 candidates on that basis alone, and with Tunnock's Teacakes flag displays, the world is their John Oster!

Scoop free since AS departed NUFC.
-
Our coverage is by far the worst in The Athletic.
-
Its actually impressive how awful The Athletic is when it comes to NUFC transfer coverage.
-
I was thinking of another London club but completely forgot about West Ham. Ideal for him.
-
I'm not ignoring anything, I know you have sold a chunk of youngsters over the years but you still have a transfer deficit of around £550m over the last four seasons. That's without going into your wage bill which is extortionate. Your point about average salary, I'll admit I don't have the breakdown of how many of those layoffs were full-time workers (and their skillset). Do you have it to hand? Either way, it's £11.1m which is still less than 10% of the money you have spent on the transfer fees two employees in the last few days. When you factor wages in it will be nearer 5%. Maximum you can amortise that is 5 years, that still gives you a 75% deficit in the trade-off.
-
Why ? Comparisons need to be placed in context though

Waughwaffle. Knows absolutely fuck all about any of our targets. Stick to writing mushy tearjerkers or XG analysis with Caulkin.

The damage Ashley inflicted on NUFC during his 14 year tenure destroyed the enterprise value of the club to the tune of hundreds of millions, if not billions. It is the very reason why NUFC could be bought 'five times over'. Ashley's NUFC financial starting point was similar to that of Spurs. He then inexplicably oversaw zero growth in commercial revenues, ran the stadium and infrastructure to the ground, masterminded two relegations, appointed Joe Kinnear, and used the whole club as a vehicle to sell tat via his sports shop, paying zero in advertising. In masterminding this shit show, one could argue that Ashley took nothing out of the club, beyond recouping loan repayments that he lent the club and the ultimate sale of the shares to PIF/Reuben brothers. If you think this makes Ashley a good or better owner than the Glazers, who I also think are terrible owners but for different reasons, then you either do not understand football finance or are just so blinkered by the issues at MUFC that you fail to understand what is happening at other clubs.
