I respectfully disagree with your assessment. While consecutive Champions League qualifications are undoubtedly significant, increased spending and risk-taking this season do not guarantee qualification. With eight teams competing for four or five spots, there's no certainty of achieving back-to-back qualifications, even with a strong squad. From a fan's perspective, I understand the appeal of taking risks. However, our risk-taking has already led to the sale of two players, Miniteh and Anderson. (Incidentally, you spent a considerable portion of last summer questioning the efforts of Wor Mandy and others i.e overspending) The reality of improving our financial position requires a long-term strategy. Reaching Arsenal's revenue levels won't happen in two or three seasons; it will take five years or more. A patient and measured approach is essential. I would rather sell Isak on our terms rather than sell him out of desperation (you said Brighton took us to the cleaners regarding the price of Miniteh) I respectfully disagree with the approach you've suggested; it doesn't seem sound or reasonable. It's understandable given that your job isn't at stake, but those running the club, and I, hold a different perspective. And about bold bit. The problem with that logic is, if we sell Isak after overspending, we won't be able to replace him with anyone good because we'll be just be selling him to meet the PSR (just like with Minteh and Anderson). If we sell Isak on our terms, without overspending first, we can get decent replacements and fill other spots. Get what I mean?

If it gets done, Jacob Ramsey would be this month for Villa's PSR, no? The consensus is that they must sell someone.

Companies working with the club have been working with the council to use data and background docs from adjacent recent developments to help inform their work according to my sources so it sounds like progress is still happening at whatever rate it is. Got to wonder if D.Ealesy will slow everything up further though.

Grealish is a very good player mind , not sure what's happened to him the last year or two but he would still be good enough for us even if he is a totally different player to the way we play. It will never happen though due to his wages .
-
I don't disagree, he's just still in the benefit of the doubt area for me. Henderson tho...
-
Portugal, Spain, France, Croatia have all managed to have at least 1 decent game. And tbh it's the selections that look barmy too.
-
Glad he hasn't retired to the US/Saudi Be interesting to see how he gets on there

Better actor for sure.

Think Carsley had the right idea.

I mean what do people expect from fixtures after long grueling league season? I dunno anyone would have sparked a stirring performance On the other hand this does all feel like classic FA overreaction signing. Southgate was hired and kept on on vibes (and also results, it's just when we get to a final we were always by far the worse team). But FA are like hmmmmm can't go all the way with a common garden vibesman. Need to sign a super intelligent systems manager who wants to instill modern posession football. Only that's really tough thing to do with a rotating cast of players who barely spend any time together. Also don't get me wrong, Tuchel could well be that perfect balancing manager in the middle whom can instill good vibes in the camp, get the players delivering their best on the pitch, and also tactically competent to know that TAA is not a fucking defensive mid. I do think though he has a long way to go in only a year before the world cup tho

Tuchel has started very poorly

De Bruyne to Napoli confirmed.

Welcome to the spitroast era.

Maybe work is the wrong word. Was it a an effective idea and execution, a worthy risk, a viable plan etc. When you are up against team(s) with more resources, any smart moves can be overcome by the additional resources and quality the other teams are able to utilise. Doesn’t make it wasn’t a good choice that gave you the best chance of success. Liverpool have better players than us, 6 other teams have more resources than us - anything we do will require luck and risk.
-
Just shift him in with Trippier, he'll keep him on the straight and narrow
-
Eh !! I wished Steven Taylor all the best for the future when Portland Timbers stole him off us and he was probably better than Trent.
-
Look forward to seeing him stood on the touchline, ready to go, just as the full time whistle goes
