Liverpool at home getting moved to the late Super Sunday slot? Yes, it happened in 23/24, but we don’t speak of that game.
-
I prefer Mbuemo & Isak I really believe Mbuemo will be transformative for us, so annoying he is greedy
-
No reoccurring muscle or tendon injuries is alright in my book
-
Forest & Marseille linked with Jordan Henderson.
-
Sunderland Category C would be an amusing thread title.
-
275M and we can talk.
-
I cant remember the last time we had our signings in early tbh.
-
It is disappointing to see how slow we are in the market compared to other teams, i was hoping for a faster start to our dealings than this.
-
Even Isak, Murphy and a young prospect if it came to it.
-
Ya Carroll to Liverpool was a killer. Took me a while to get over that.
-
Fair. Maybe I worded it poorly. We're not quite yet in a position to buy players who have minimal or no baggage?
-
Journalists usually do feed on information from each other tbf. I doubt any of them have much inside knowledge unless an agent is trying to plant stuff through them.
-
Bristo fan will not be tolerated, sounds too much like Bisto
-
Bristo fan in peace. Good to have you lads back in the Champo. Feels like a proper league now. Already looking forward to coming up to Sunderland via Ponteland Airporto. Already know you massive lads will be making an incredible atmosphere. See yous in the pubo afterwards. Ps I hate NUFC

Felt the same when I read the injury list. Slight risk with any major injuries, but I wouldn't be too worried.
-
Surprised the Soccer Aid Manchester Team of the past isn't more highly regarded. Even after they provided a home for Wes Brown, John O'Shea and countless other greats.
-
I don't think many are, to be honest. Long gone are the days of being able to sign multiple world-class players for virtually any club as they now cost over £100M, top ones 150+. I think there will be a tendency now where the top players move less frequently
-
From what I can see Scalvini has had a cruciate knee injury and some sort of shoulder injury. These make up the majority of his extended periods out of action. I don’t think it’s that bad. The rest are 1-3 week layoffs.
-
We're not yet in a position to always buy players who are the cream of the crop. Until we are we're going to have to make do with moves for players like these and hope Howe does his magic on them and hope they're injuries are behind them. See Livramento.

May seem daft, but having an array of top quality players competing for two (or on occasion three) CB positions may be easier to manage if you accept that one or two are going to miss a few games (hopefully not all at once and for long periods). It may always be better than having a couple of indestructible cart horses as back-ups.
-
Their inferiority complex is ramping up. Wait until the season starts and they're stuck in free fall land for 9 months

Another local journo (Scott Wilson) now miraculously mentioning Scalvini to add to the list https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/25261595.newcastle-united-interested-atalanta-defender-giorgi-scalvini/
