  2. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-fc-injury-update-rice-timber-trossard-latest-return-dates-b1227126.html Rice - Hamstring Trossard - Hamstring Jorginho - Lung Timber - Groin (most likely to be fit)
  3. Why sell Barnes? The guy gets a goal or assist every other game, nine Premier League goals this season, and half the time he was on the bench! I don't get it. I'd keep Willock and Pope, personally.
  4. When Will The Hague Intervene? https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/when-will-the-hague-intervene.1654907/
  5. It would require 1 point to finish above whichever teams lost, however if only 1 of them loses, then they (the non loser) and Forest would still be able to catch us.
  6. I agree they have better depth but way better? Take out their loan players and I think it doesn’t look quite so good for them. Put it this way, I wouldn’t swap squads with them
  7. The Butcher

    Dan Burn

Burn made the goal with his run, leaving Gusto in no mans land. Absolutely love that he made that run. Another CB would've moved back towards his own goal. Cracking attacking mentality. Love owt like that.
  8. Yeah, I'm with you. Villa HAVE to miss out, they're a really good team now, way better squad than us with tons of players to choose from. Getting into the Champions League again will just make them even stronger.
  9. I understand nerves but we basically have done everything we could possibly do bar winning every game. There's nothing more we can ask. If all our rivals win all their games by multiple goals then we'll be in a conversation. Otherwise we're doing it.
  10. I can only see 2 comfortable wins for Villa tbh but I don't think that'll make a difference to us qualifying. 1 win and we're in, 2 wins and we've got 2nd place
  11. You'll feel a lot better when we give Arsenal a taste of their own medicine on Sunday afternoon, don't worry.
  12. That’s why i just have a fear regarding a last day twist. Villa are currently in the worst league position of the four of us (NUFC, Man City, Chelsea, Villa) yet most will say they are the ones who are going to make it due to their two remaining fixtures. So that leaves two spots for us Man City and Chelsea. They’ve got better fixtures than us IMO. It’s in our hands and we’ve two bites at it so can’t complain. Amazing season. Was just weird looking at the league table after the weekend feeling not that much better off than before it!
  13. 2 wins in 11 games. A fair few draws but other than Forest, they've been losing to the other top 6 teams. We'll be fine.
  14. Stop me if I'm wrong, but if Chelsea or Villa lose on Friday, we're more or less there?
  15. Without the light bulb.. you are dim! Without the power.. you have no energy... you are the sweetch Laca! Be the sweetch and release the energy to be powerful and shine!
  16. We had an awful injury record with a small squad and got 60 points. Thats our floor. 60 points. Keep what we have. Add 3 or 4 quality players. Maybe 1 or 2 youngsters and we could challenge. Had we had Tonali firing all season, we would’ve got close to mounting a title challenge this season alone. We need bodies. But not 6 or 7.
  17. We’re at around 95% income vs ‘allowed’ spend
  18. Because the quality gap between starters and the rest is too big? One of these summers there will need to be a large amount of turnover to get the squad ready for consistent European campaigns.
  19. Will be some regen. Bukayo Lewis-Nketiah, or such like.
  20. That won’t happen if we qualify for the CL. We would have just qualified for the CL and won a cup. Why would we make wholesale changes?
  21. Think Any PL side in the top 12 would have a decent crack at making the Europa league final this season. They wouldn’t have got to the final last year with Atalanta and Leverkusen. It’s genuinely harder to win a domestic cup this season. At least 3 of our 4 wins against Spurs/Man U were ‘live’ games. We smashed a live Man U at OT. We are good. But that is insane.
  22. Other than the fact there's a few players leaving this summer, I'm not sure 3/4 additions would cut it. That would just replace what we lose. I could easily see 7/8 players coming in this summer. Not all first team starters obviously. But all players who will be in the matchday squad. Willock, Longstaff, Wilson, Trippier, Barnes, Dubravka, Vlach, Targett, Pope (if we bring in a #1) All players linked away or out of contract. That's NINE players that need replacing potentially.
