Relegation would be a good thing for HTT, as it would put him one step closer to buying the club. If Newcastle get relegated, I can't see them coming back up for years. It takes a stable club to gain promotion at any level of the game.

I defended Ashley vehemently for so long that being let down feels much worse. Couple that with paying for the three years of ST money up front on the basis of the euphoria and promise of Keegan coming back and I feel like a proper mug tbh. I don't disagree with you, and I'd feel a lot worse if I'd bought a season ticket too. I sometimes forget how much some of you invest in the club.
