FWIW I'd be opposed to Henry VIII buying the club too.

"Squirming to safety on the cheap, with ugly smash-and-grabs, unjustly rewards the poverty of ambition which has held the club back throughout Ashley’s tenure."

Not really as he was stood on the stairs. Agree on the latter.

Absolote shit show in here and two are taking a 24 hour time out. Horrific patter. The posts have now been deleted. Just no need for the bickering etc.

Employed by the club, Sky shouldn't use him tbh.

The've taken the 'keeper off.

Is it work experience week? Really struggled reading out the sports news there.

If he's fit, it's a sensible game to bring him back in tbh give the intensity will be lower than a Premier League game.

I agree, Kompany is involved in a charity to take homeless people off the street and give them hope, Rashford has just registered a company to make his own toilet roll and umbrellas Rashford has done quite a lot of charity work, including with homelessness and also Unicef. Do you think Kompany has no commercial endorsements or something? What Kompany has done / is doing is of course more but he's also at a very different stage in life. Strange stick to beat Rashford with.

Alex Scott often does the job (as a pundit, not sure if I've heard her commentate) better than many men.

It's a worthwhile piece on its history to give more attention to the planning application currently under consideration by NCC for a large new building to effectively wrap around it, but the headline is stupid.

Better than what we've got.

It is like, more complex than that, but from a conditioning and injury prevention perspective it very much is playing playrers when their muscles are 'tired' and in the high risk of injury category not just playing them when not returned to full match fitness. But it's his job to manage his squad and minimise these risks - he's not doing very well at this.

No. It was unacceptable. It's something you get taught when your like 5 years old, don't pass across your on penalty area. Nowt to do with his lack of fitness, more lack of brain cells This is nonense. Passing at accross your own box is a perfectly acceptable thing to do at elite level at the right time (Leicester did it multiple times and executed it well) and yes, tiredness and fatigure can impact decision making as well as execution. It was a shocking mistake mind, but at this level the whole don't pass accross your box ever isn't really a thing.

Mark is correct here. A lot of our long term hardcore fan base has been replaced over the last decade.

There is an angle that makes it look like he’s offside. Disappointed MOTD didn’t take another look at it to clarify it. He literally overtook Fernandez after the ball was played, not even close. When the ball is played he's offside relative to Fernandez (which is why I thought he was off when I saw the first replay), but Schar on the far side looks like he's just playing him on, which I didn't see at the time. It is close though. Nah. Ja https://imgur.com/mJDZgoS I stand corrected.

No, those seats are being filled by others.

No, not even close.

There's definitely something in the theory that it's not necessarily age that slows players down in their 30s but miles on the clock. 33 next month and he's still absolutely f***ing rapid. Interesting one. In his career he's played about the same number of games as Wayne Rooney had by age 23.
