That's surely over-estimating us.

That's all well and good and probably correct. I still wouldn't expect quotes. Rafa has a man working for him to brief the press, has worked for him for years, yet when what he briefs is in the paper you won't see any quotes.
-
Not one quote. Why would there be quotes? The headline says Benitez is only expecting to sign players on loan - when's he ever said that? Who's he said that to? His people or the club will have briefed the press off the record. It's how it works.

Reckless = yellow so he got it wrong.

His link up play was as bad as I've ever seen against Brighton mind.

Thought he was lucky not to get sent off.

Dean Jones? Played a few Tests for Australia and loads of one dayers.
-
You know you can still watch him, right? On TV - but still nice watching class players live. or or

Theoretically today doesn't matter much but if they get dumped on at Old Trafford I think he'll be gone. Two minutes later.
-
Two games in a day for him? Must have used Ashley's chopper. Impressive to sort a loan deal out so soon and they've waived the cup tied rules.

Leazes end resembled a crèche. No atmosphere from our lot at all but a price you have to pay, these bairns are our future support.

Awful today.

Didn’t have much to do. His error caused their goal, dodgy with the ball when under pressure, decent distribution when not under pressure. Shouldn’t be judged on this game.

Not the first time. Worrying.

Just watched his press conference. He's beaming like a Cheshire cat when he walks in and then when the talk comes round to transfers it is almost like he's trying to look miserable on purpose then when asked about him needed players by the 20th January he says "maximum" but again has a massive grin then still smiling talking about options and targets. Given how angry and aggressive he was in pressers in the last Jan window and in August........... I wonder if he knows something...

Do you not remember this huge moment in the history of Newcastle United?

Indirect free kick

Didn’t have Micky Quinn down as foodie - thought he was more pie and chips.

People for some reason are bitching and moaning about the way we scored a key goal against a fellow relegation rival that won us the game. That's one huge reason why I'm highlighting it in particular, idiot. Glad he didn't f*** it up! I certainly wouldn't back him too many times to score if he used the same technique and casual composure. What technique would you have suggested? He's far more likely to miss if he takes a touch and tries something else.
