  1. Back in 2011 we were linked with him. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2056456/Newcastle-race-sign-Facundo-Ferreyra.html
  2. I can't see us getting Benteke or spending the cash needed to get him. I can however see him wanting a move, he wanted a move last summer and Villa never improved any and this summer look awful in the transfer market. His current injury will surely affect any potential moves for him though?
  3. If Caulker is not interested in signing for Arry, we should be trying to punt Taylor to him (seeing as he is supposedly a fan) and that would finance a move for the likes of Caulker.
  4. Sky fixtures Sunday Aug 23rd - Man City (home) Monday 29th September - Stoke (Away)
  5. 26 years old, give him a good run in the side and if he shows any kind of consistent form, being English, his value will shoot. Cha Ching Ashley's a winner!
  6. Did we not make an approach for him in 2008? If Pardew does go I could see him being another on Ashleys shortlist.
  7. Whilst he never signed them he also had Stubbs and Weir playing as a fantastic defensive partnership particularly in the 04/05 season.
  8. Van Persie, HBA, Ramsay and Benteke and a Zabaleta clean sheet. Good going do far..
  9. Lukaku to West Brom on loan? Some guy was on SSN earlier saying they had used up all their loan allocation slots when Amalfitano signed.
  10. The difference in the side and how we play without Jonas, Tiote and Shola (second half) is night and day.

    Alan Pardew

Please just get rid. I know we will still continue to have Ashley and Co in charge and have bigger problems on the whole but the chore of watching Pardews teams/tactics week in week out is brutal....
  12. Another whose career has probably suffered from being at this club and under idiots like Pardew. I never thought for a minute he would turn out to be a world beater but he had looked in the past to have had some of the attributes to become a better player. You just need to look at Cabaye, Mbiwa, Debuchy, Sissoko, Cisse etc and how they all look worse players than they did when they joined to know that none of the young players coming through will ever advance as players in the current set up.
  13. I just don't see anything in Sammy that suggests he is good enough or ever will be.
  14. 3 in by Saturday, he then tweeted "Graham Carr laughed as he said it!"..... Too much Stella and Vino tbh.

Yeah, there were many horror shows but that's always the one that sticks in my mind. Geremi (then Cacapa) and Jonas at CM in a 4-4-2. Habib Beye was on the wing too I think?

I want Pardew replaced as much as anyone, but for this saying they would take Kinnear just think back to this game http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1090832/Newcastle-2-Stoke-2-Kinnear-dock-Faye-late-strike.html Probably the biggest balls up of dropped points of the entire relegation season. Team was cruising in the first half, an injury to Danny Guthrie and Kinnear decides to move 4 players out of position for the second half which resulted in headless chickens that threw away what should have been an easy win. The man is a lunatic and a dinosaur of a manager. I also don't want him taking over as I honestly think his heart couldn't take it, the result of which could be horrific.
  17. Whilst Nolan had some good attributes, was a great leader and one of the biggest goal threats we have had in recent years I was often frustrated with feeling we were over ran and over exposed in midfield with him not having much of an engine and pushing forward so much. The irony of this now looking back was that even though back then it felt that Tiote was being left with so much to do, we also so the best of him with that partnership. I don’t have any doubt that Cabaye has the attributes to be a top player at a good club but given our set up, tactics and clueless manager we probably would have been better off with what Nolan could bring to the team
  18. He will have been happy to keep it to four seeing as they are one of the "big clubs". Fucking prick

I still don't think we have that bad a team/squad. Any half decent manager should be able to get this team to play to a much higher standard but Pardew is just now negative and his fear of losing transfers both on the pitch but also to us the supporters who go in to games like this expecting to getting hammered before a ball is kicked. Christ, can you imagine Keegan with our current squad he would be going out there tonight for a win and have both the players and us the supporters believing we could. His interview before kick off against Man United on the opening day of the season (in his second spell) done exactly that, I sat believing we could win and we gave it a good go. I am not for one minute saying I would take him or that he is good enough but even the likes of Holloway is the opposite of the nightmare that is Pardew. He would send his Palace (or his old Blackpool side out) out trying to play for a win and with belief. Ashley and what he is doing to the kill the club is another matter, but Pardews negativity is killing my love of the game.

Honestly think he will be gone within 10 games.

    Steven Taylor

Fucking idiot of a player. Always has been, always will be...
  22. Really, as good as a player as I think his/can be, I though he looked like he had the heart the size of a pea at times last season when we were struggling.
