  1. The difference in the side and how we play without Jonas, Tiote and Shola (second half) is night and day.

Please just get rid. I know we will still continue to have Ashley and Co in charge and have bigger problems on the whole but the chore of watching Pardews teams/tactics week in week out is brutal....
  3. Another whose career has probably suffered from being at this club and under idiots like Pardew. I never thought for a minute he would turn out to be a world beater but he had looked in the past to have had some of the attributes to become a better player. You just need to look at Cabaye, Mbiwa, Debuchy, Sissoko, Cisse etc and how they all look worse players than they did when they joined to know that none of the young players coming through will ever advance as players in the current set up.
  4. I just don't see anything in Sammy that suggests he is good enough or ever will be.
  5. 3 in by Saturday, he then tweeted "Graham Carr laughed as he said it!"..... Too much Stella and Vino tbh.

Yeah, there were many horror shows but that's always the one that sticks in my mind. Geremi (then Cacapa) and Jonas at CM in a 4-4-2. Habib Beye was on the wing too I think?

I want Pardew replaced as much as anyone, but for this saying they would take Kinnear just think back to this game http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1090832/Newcastle-2-Stoke-2-Kinnear-dock-Faye-late-strike.html Probably the biggest balls up of dropped points of the entire relegation season. Team was cruising in the first half, an injury to Danny Guthrie and Kinnear decides to move 4 players out of position for the second half which resulted in headless chickens that threw away what should have been an easy win. The man is a lunatic and a dinosaur of a manager. I also don't want him taking over as I honestly think his heart couldn't take it, the result of which could be horrific.
  8. Whilst Nolan had some good attributes, was a great leader and one of the biggest goal threats we have had in recent years I was often frustrated with feeling we were over ran and over exposed in midfield with him not having much of an engine and pushing forward so much. The irony of this now looking back was that even though back then it felt that Tiote was being left with so much to do, we also so the best of him with that partnership. I don’t have any doubt that Cabaye has the attributes to be a top player at a good club but given our set up, tactics and clueless manager we probably would have been better off with what Nolan could bring to the team
  9. He will have been happy to keep it to four seeing as they are one of the "big clubs". Fucking prick

I still don't think we have that bad a team/squad. Any half decent manager should be able to get this team to play to a much higher standard but Pardew is just now negative and his fear of losing transfers both on the pitch but also to us the supporters who go in to games like this expecting to getting hammered before a ball is kicked. Christ, can you imagine Keegan with our current squad he would be going out there tonight for a win and have both the players and us the supporters believing we could. His interview before kick off against Man United on the opening day of the season (in his second spell) done exactly that, I sat believing we could win and we gave it a good go. I am not for one minute saying I would take him or that he is good enough but even the likes of Holloway is the opposite of the nightmare that is Pardew. He would send his Palace (or his old Blackpool side out) out trying to play for a win and with belief. Ashley and what he is doing to the kill the club is another matter, but Pardews negativity is killing my love of the game.

Honestly think he will be gone within 10 games.
  12. Fucking idiot of a player. Always has been, always will be...
  13. Really, as good as a player as I think his/can be, I though he looked like he had the heart the size of a pea at times last season when we were struggling.
  14. Not that we would have any clue who the club are scouting, it was widely reported we were interested when Hughton was here... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1303487/Newcastle-closing-4m-Holland-powerhouse-Leroy-Fer.html
  15. "Valenciennes officials reportedly travelled to London last night to speak to Fulham about the transfer of their 21-year-old defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin. One of the most promising centre-backs in Ligue 1, he would be an exciting signing for the Cottagers - especially at a cut-price fee of just over £2m." I am surprised we are not in for him at this price. With Williamson not up to it and the chance the Colo will be off in the summer, I would have thought he would be one that we would be looking at.

    Loïc Remy

  17. PSG are playing in the French Cup on the 6th. I assume he is going to the game...
  18. Something to make us all feel better! Absolutely woeful squad.
  19. Was it not Pardew or Llambias that came out bleating about our strategy on how we have a target for a position then if we cant get them we have another option (and that they are not a Plan B) but another attainable target etc. Given we have basically admitted we want a right back, Pardew said at the talk in he wanted a goal scoring centre half and the fact we bid for De Jong/Carroll, to show that we want/need a RB, CB and Striker and so far have none of them is ridiculous. It really is a joke...
  20. Thought they'd hang on for Walcott... Wonder were he will end up... Liverpool, with Carroll back here.
  21. I still think we will get him or another full back. They will be wanting Simpson out the door with only 12 months to go on his contract, I think he will be off as soon as we get a replacement.
  22. 134 million pound of debt written off yet in the 3rd Division in Scotland where you play against part timers and they are signing the likes of Sandaza on a reported 5k a week, Ian Black on a reported on 7k. St Johnstone a club that is trying to run within its means couldn't afford to sign him and Hearts who are still owed £600,000 for Lee Wallace, who is still playing for "The" Rangers, couldn't afford to give Black another contract. I feel sorry for the fans in all of this but for the club to be able to just become a newco and write off all that debt, whilst also still wanting to claim rights to the trophies won by the oldco, is absolutely ridiculous.
  23. I think the Carroll transfer will be key to our summer. If we can sign him on loan for a minimal outlay this summer (2m fee being mentioned) I think this could free up the transfer budget to bring in a CB, RB, and DM (Debuchy, Douglas & Anita?). Given we have already brought in around 5 million (Best and Forster) and have offloaded Lovenkrands, Smith, Guthrie etcs wages + its still looks like Simpson could be offloaded for 3 or 4 million, it could leave us with a budget capable of vastly improving the squad. If however we cannot get Carroll and look at other options (Remy etc) it will take a massive chunk out of this summers budget and surely must have an impact on our overall spend.
