My first thought was this was the Chelsea home shirt (forgetting they're no longer sponsored by Fly Emirates).

Personally I would love it if it were Wigan, Villa and QPR who go down, but I can only see 2 of those 3 going down, I believe Reading will be the third team. Wigan have been flirting with relegation every season since they came up, it is about time they went down, Villa are just abysmal and I want them to go down because of our final day defeat to relegate us and QPR I just severely dislike.

Less chance of conflict, makes sense. For all I agree with that, my worry would be if there is conflict then they're directly in the firing line.

Still don't understand what Zlatan's done to deserve that reputation. Apart from scoring four against England. Search for the video of him kicking people in the head. Wasn't it Zlatan that wanted to take Guardiola outside and sort out their difference in a fight?

Hopefully he'll get quite a bit of game time, I think he's good enough right now for a starting place in a mid championship team and hopefully he can kick on and build up some experience. A bit of muscle building wouldn't go amiss either.

I don't entirely blame him, watching the replay he was caught between 2 players as Scheiderlin ran into the box late on, personally I put half of the blame on midfield failing to pick up the runner.

Don't know if anyone will be interested but Sheila Norman who is heading up the investigation has done a IAMA on Reddit and she has been answering questions on what she has found. She does go more in depth into it than I imagined, for instance when she says that the game is more fucked than senior officials in FIFA are willing to accept or even announce to the public.

I think we only just had 36 hours rest between Europa League and Chelsea game earlier in the season. Can't remember the opposition but we played in Eastern Europe late on the Thursday night then Chelsea at 12 on the Saturday.

I'm so pleased we got this guy, of all the signings this was the one I was probably the most apprehensive about as I knew absolutely nothing about him. His work rate is amazing, he seems an intelligent player and he's always doing what he can for the team.

There were times when his name on the team sheet would be accepted with moans of disappointment, now I'm happy to see him play as he has improved massively since he joined us. He's full blooded player who gives all he has and I'm thankful we have him in our squad.

spot on. although the result will be 1-1 I can't see Marveaux or Anita starting, I believe Pardew will stick with Perch and Jonas. I honestly don't see why Jonas is in the team any more.

From what I've seen of him (admittedly only on youtube) he looks a canny player, but I don't see him being a starting 11 player yet, I think Pardew will use him as an incentive for Santon to pick up his form now he is no longer the only LB at the club.

If all of these signings do come off I very much doubt Pardew will play them all to start with, I'd expect a starting line up of Krul, Debuchy, Mbiwa, Colo, Santon, Anita, Cabaye, Jonas, Marveaux, Cisse, Gouffran

seems like a nice bloke but he's just not good enough, I seriously hope we don't have to resort to playing him again as the premier league is too much for him. He tried his best and never complained, he helped us out when needed and helped us gain promotion and for that we should all be thankful for the effort he put in.

This is the one of the transfers that we are linked with that worries me the most, his goal record is something like 1 in 5 which isn't exactly great for a striker.
