    Knows his stuff then.
  2. Didn't even realise we are 2 points off Arsenal. Embarrassing for them.
  3. By my maths: 5% of 11.72bn total shares (market cap) x share price of £118.55 = £69bn. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BT-A.L?p=BT-A.L&.tsrc=fin-srch I would doubt it was 5% though because the volume is only 42 million shares traded on Friday. They'd own about 585million shares if it was true.
  4. Richard Keys probably going to glue his hairy hands to the Saudi embassy in protest.
  5. Whenever I see Craig Hope I always remember him as that young(ish) lad who emailed us asking if he could write a few articles for our site (when we had more than just a forum). It's still strange to see how far he's actually made it, regardless of whether you like his opinions or not.
  6. Ben Arfa was the most talented but unfortunately he played for Pardew's Newcastle whereas Ginola played for Keegan and Robert for Bobby Robson. Therefore they did more for us than him, not that he couldn't have if we had a real manager instead of fish lips when he was here.
  7. That just means it is related to the takeover and it's just in the nick of time.

    Joelinton

He isn't great at all, but since we're about to be the richest club in the world I don't really care.
  9. Ginola is still the best wideman I've ever seen at this club. Anyone who didn't live through/experience the Entertainers team may not ever understand just how incredible that team was collectively.
  10. This is a bit of a joke at this stage. Literally hasn't moved an inch in about 2 months.

I still remember when they went down to the Championship they thought they were going to walk it because "If the Mags can do it, then it's easy and we'll smash their points total."
  14. Can we get this over the line or are we still monitoring the Premier League's decision?
  15. I honestly cannot fathom how this sort of work can take this long to get through. They must be working through a page of documentation a day. Its paper work, emails and phone calls. If they don't have the resources to give the time it needs due to 'project restart', they should have hired a private firm to work it. I'm in the wrong racket. I'd get less time than this to design, implement and deploy something that automated this whole thing. Premier League to us:
  16. Okay Tony Schiavone. "June 1st will be the biggest announcement in the history of this great sport!" "Rafa Benitez is returning to Newcastle. Ugh, that will put butts in the seats!"
  17. Can't agree with that. They developed well under Rafa, and would do so again if Rafa returns or Pochettino comes in.
  18. Dubravka, Yedlin, Schar, Lascelles, Lejeune, Dummett, Longstaff x 2, Shelvey, Saint-Maximin and Almiron I'd keep around in the squad. Ideally bring back Willems permanently too. Inevitably some of the lesser players will still be here too. I imagine 5-6 new signings. One statement of intent signing (Coutinho or someone like that) and then 5 other high quality signings (probably someone like Cavani on a free will be in there). Unless we find a proper way to fuck FFP off.
  19. I would like us to start trying to sign young promising English players. Something that was always too expensive for us before.
  20. This is going to be in my nightmares
  21. Wewww you found it. How?! I thought I'd lost that forever, was the first one I did then I got a bit obsessed with them. Looked through the original thread and someone had re-posted it.
  22. It was a recreation of this.
  23. Another golden oldie (in all senses of the word)
