argentina are known for their very aggressive players with alot of strength, it's the reason why there players do better than brazilians in england colo simply doesn't have it in the prem which Argentine has really shined in the premiership? I cant think of one except Tevez Mascherano is the only other one who springs to mind. at a push You're not easily pleased then? It must do your head in supporting NUFC. In fact you'd probably be disappointed supporting Barcelona.

No more points for Hull, Boro, or West Brom! I'd love it, I'd really love it, but it's just not realistic. Is it?
-
With support like that i doubt they will You get the support you deserve Fact is - they HAVEN'T. They've got great backing and given NOTHING back in return An example is some of the answers to me - people defending the indefensible But I respect such blind (and I DO mean blind) support We can do without "supporters" like you. I suggest you go to the theatre or ballet or opera instead!

We've been given a massive chance and we have to take it!!!

10 man Hull!

I like the true faith piece, but it's such a shame that the rallying call is needed in the first place. Also Shearer's call for more noise at SJP on Monday underlines the fact that there are far too many "spectators" attending games at SJP and this is seriously handicapping the team. Perhaps Ashley and his cronies will seriously consider a proper singing end for next season.

Did I say it was Owen's fault? Owen has managed 1 goal in his last 13 games and doesn't look like scoring anytime soon either. Unless we radically change the system there's no point having him in the side. Viduka is the answer to your question btw, not that anything in your absurdly bad post really warrants a response Well I think it's "absurd" how you contradict your earlier post saying "it's all in Shearer's hands now to be honest" by then stating that you want Owen to be taken out of the team when that's patently not going to happen whilst Shearer's manager and Owen is fit. Your absurdness is then compounded by your assertion that you'd prefer a half chance to fall to Viduka, as opposed to Owen, with our Premiership status on the line.
-
No! And there's not a chance that he will be, if he's fit.
-
"get Owen out of there because he clearly isn't anywhere near up to it anymore without good service" So it's Owen's fault that our midfield is shite?! Owen is still one of our best "footballers" and if a half chance presents itself on Monday can you give me another player in our squad that you'd want it to fall to? I don't think so!

Guthrie must start! Shearer really fucked up not starting with him yesterday.

I wish these clowns would fuck off! My club is in dire straights, in need of unswerving support, and we've got a bunch of goons wondering where they are going to get their pictures from if the worst happens. And some clown is saying that he might have to support a different club! Fuck off, this a supporters forum!

Totally agree with the bit in bold. Pompey next week is our first "must win" game of the season. Just for a moment imagine how you'd feel, and the momentum we'd get, from beating Portsmouth, and then imagine how you'd feel if we didn't get the 3 points. It doesn't bear thinking about! It's a cup final and we don't have to go to Wembley to watch it.

Is this a f***ing joke? nope Well I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to arrange your f***ing viewing arrangement if and when the worst happens. I don't think it 's appropriate to be discussing them now on a "supporters" forum, do you?! This is an issue that is vital to mine and several other people's ability to support NUFC. I do not give a flying fuck whether you think this is an "appropriate" topic for discussion or not. We can do without your "support" thank you very much!

Good man. That's the spirit!

I don't think Owen got on the end of a single chance today, whereas Martins got on the end of three or four in the half hour he was on. When Owen plays up front with a target man, our strategy seems to be to play the ball long in the hope that Owen gets on the end of flick-ons. It's Seventies football and it can't work any more. Owen doesn't play well as a withdrawn striker in a 4-4-2, so if he has to play the best idea is to have him in that free role in a 4-3-1-2 that was tried last season. It's not the way I'd go, because we don't have Barton back yet. But I think it's what we're in for next week. To be fair to Owen, Carroll was very poor today and the step up was just too much for him, and the same old story with the crap midfield. Owen is still one of our best footballers and there's no one I'd want a half chance falling to with our Premiership status on the line. And if we're relying on Barton we really are fucked. Do you think he's going to walk back into the team and find his best form immediately?!

Is this a fucking joke?

"Geordie" dean? In my experience Geordies are the most optimistic people anyone could meet, and for you to give up on us at this stage is a disgrace! We are still fighting and I and many others still believe we can get out of it. I'm sure Shearer believes, and if the vast majority of the St James' faithful believe I know we will do it!
-
What is sad is that you are even thinking such a thing could happen. Get a grip man!
-
If we get 50,000 Geordies at St James' believing we will, then I think we will. If we get the same level of negativity amongst the crowd as there is on here then I think we will struggle. The crowd is going to play a massive part in our survival or otherwise.

I was already on at all rates from 8's down. Gutted they won yesterday but, as you say, it's not over yet.

It's good to be positive in this situation but the bit in bold has to be a piss take! Spurs never got out of 2nd gear to make us look like a non league side. Thats what I mean, Spurs did fuck all they were there for the taking IMO. Martins and Viduka showed this. The fact that Spurs didn't move out of 2nd gear kinda helps the point I was trying to make. The point about "having gears" is that Spurs could have upped their game if they had felt anywhere near threatened by us. I don't think that means "they were there for the taking". But keep the positive vibes going, we need them.
-
It makes you question Shearer's eye for a player if Guthrie doesn't get a game before Nolan. Keegan would never have made that mistake, and I didn't think Shearer would have either. As I said last week, Guthrie must play in every game until the end of the season, but by missing out today he is that much further from match fitness when we are going to need him playing at 100%. Much as I hate to criticise Shearer, I think he's made a big mistake not playing Guthrie today. The only defense of Shearer i can come up with is he doesnt think Guthrie has a enough fitness then i think to myself "fit enough for bench fit to start" ,hopefully he will have learnt something today as he did from Amoebi the week before . We can't afford for him to weed the crap out at the rate of one turd per game though can we? Shearer must stick with his best players and one game plan and see where that takes us.
-
Have to agree with that. We should all stop kidding ourselves and start preparing for the championship next season. We will win 1 game against the boro and that's it. Oh and hopefully someone can smash Ashley's face in when they see him, if ever. Don't you know that negativity is extremely contagious! But looking at your sig you're obviously prone to wild mood swings so I'll forgive you.

Hull can only get 2 points max from their remaining games, we can catch them!
