I remember that Bolton game under Big Sam, we actually looked like a good team. Oba was so unpredictable, his numbers for us were very decent all things considered.

Considering he's what 25? Not really no. Dibling you're betting on potential. Mbeumo you're betting on proven results. Again - these type of signings Dibling etc are fantastic if you are already established, but how far can Eddie really take us with a team just full of "future potential" rather than players who are ready to make a difference now. Mbeumo contributions in our current team would have us second/third I'd imagine.

Having Dibling ahead of a guy thats been arguably one of the best RW in the prem for 2-3 seasons is crackers. Mbeumo is the type of signing to get us top 4. Bored of discussing how much future players will be sold in the future or "how much their value will increase"

Aye - how I feel. Been a great signing - but he's not Schar/Demba Ba/Cabaye value wise for me. Still £13M doesn't really get you much now days. As much as I love him, I don't want him here for "years to come". If he's still starting games in a season or two we have bigger issues than we anticipated.

For the price we've paid he's been an astute signing. It's a shame that him and Schar are possibly the slowest CB pairing in the Prem however.
