I can see Ronaldo's posting has ten folded in the last few weeks, wonder why Eddie Howe, a man everyone describes as a workaholic and someone who focuses on intricate detail has hired someone to be his number 2 who can only wind up opposition - right.

Every time I see this thread bumped I imagine its another setback -
State of modern football

Thats debatable, he's on around 3 clangers so far and we're barely 10 games in
-
He can't be moaning about PSR when he effectively spent £40m on an impact sub then
-
What's that got to do with anything? It was absolutely the right call to sell Wood.

We're approaching 2025 and were still seeing Murphy and Almiron get games. The fact that he can't get a tune out of Tonali is concerning. I'm still baffled at his hard on for Guehi all summer, very frustrated in general so far this season. I feel like earlier results didn't really tell whole story as to how poor we've actually been, and bar the City performance which IMO we were excellent. - we are exactly where we should be table wise. We have lost that fear factor that we used to have when teams played us, incredibly hard to break down and absolutely lethal on the counter.

Starting to genuinely get concerned at some of the shite being served up for quite a while now

Mbappe has scored like 3 pens too

As soon as I said "this match is shit" and went to make a brew I obviously missed the inevitable didn't I

Stealing a living Jeff Hendrick was stealing a living. Colback was stealing a living. This guy's just a crock, big difference. -
Aye definitely. The way we managed players last year even ended up having to be investigated but I'm making stuff up right
-
In another club he won't have these fitness issues - we simply cannot utilise him to his strengths or work around his stamina/natural fitness. It's poor man management all round tbh.
-
Completely forgot Eales is essentially looking for his replacement as well - mental.
-
Willock is suited to Brentford funnily enough, I also don't think we'll get a willing bidder for him.
-
They are living proof you don't need to spend a fortune though. They even got their money back on Diaby who I was happy we didn't sign. We've turned a blind eye to players in the championship in the past - but Rogers would be absolutely immense for us and he cost them what £10M?
-
I'm not fussed about Villa getting Emery - I'm fussed about the fact they've done it without the SA shit stain attached to our club

8-10% a year is considered a good return in the stock market. Ashley essentially bought us for £120m and sold us for £320m if you believe the figures. He also got plenty of free promo for his parent company. Not a mathematician by any means but this surely shows that owning a football club can be successful? I think they are banking on someone big to outbid Sky one day and tv rights to basically explode. City also sold 10% to a Chinese company for around 300M, so they're currently valued at around 3BN if you base it on this figure. Edit again: City sold 13% for 265 almost 10 years, so lord knows what they're actually valued at now.

Second behind only Haaland since December last year. Fair fucks to him - looked like bambi on ice here.

Why would you worry? The UK has been basically open for business to the Saudis for decades

He's clearly not shit, but your modern day football fan writes off a player after a bad match against a title contender. He would've fitted perfectly into our team and saved us a hell of a lot of money which we could've spent transforming other parts of the squad. Tosin and Botman would've been a fantastic back 2 for a long time for not much money.

They'll be up for it unfortunately. 3-1
