You are so wrong. Newcastle fans are despised and hated and perceived as being arrogant, nationwide. Have a butchers at ANY teams football forums and letters pages on the internet and you will see this. (Even the Chester City forum has a thread where their fans are taking the piss out of us!) Agree with Blefescu about the media and rent-a-mongs having a lot to do with this. Wally McFool is spot on. Those who dont think that we are universally hated really need to actually have a look at what is written about us on other message boards. It goes far beyond just wanting a big club to go down. I would say, yes. Ive noticed the hate building over the past few years and a recent scout around the other prem message boards confirmed the fact. Everyone hates us. Simple as that. I have read thread after thread on other teams message boards about our situation and you'd honestly be hard pressed to find a single person who isnt hoping and praying that we go down. Hell, even fans of clubs not even in our league hate us with a passion ffs, thats how bad its got!! Obviously we havent done ourselves any favours in recent years with the way the club has been run but by far and away the biggest reason stated for hating us is.................yep, you've guessed it...........The fans.......The 'deluded' fans. They seem to think our entire support is the same as the handfull of idiots (well more than a handfull I'll give you that! ) who rock up outside the ground and get on SSN's or Setanta whenever a bird farts. They seem to think everything that happens at the club is dictated by the fans and we only have ourselves to blame. Well, what do you think? and more importantly, do you care?

Like the fans actually arranged for the fat cunt and the free flags like?

You know, I said during the early stages that he was a suerb defender. I can recognise that he has dropped some terrible clangers but the way he has been villified has been way over the top imo. People on radio stations saying he is the worst player they have ever seen etc is a load of bullshit for a start. I still reckon he would be class in a good team.

Well, its better than the current kit. But as always they never come out with a totally new design, they always just do crappy little updates. I like the retro 80's Umbro collar, that is class. I hate the rest of it though, it would look better if the badge and adidas logo were on white rater than black. I think the back will look OK IF THEY USE THE RED LETTERS ON THE BACK. Bet they wont though, c***s.

People keep going on about this, (including the media) about how the north east is all of a sudden not a hotbed of football. They are misunderstanding what this term means. It is a reference to the fans passion for the game not how well the teams are doing. So it is just as much a hotbed now than it ever has been. I think its a stupid term anyhow.

The key is quality ball into the fnal third not just any old ball lumped in there for him to chase down which is currently the case.

The team is s*** and can create nothing for Owen its as simple as that, were he playing in a top 6 team he would be banging them in for fun.
