  1. prem goals (taking away penalities) for Shearer 2004-05 4 2005-06 5 anyone else massively impressed with this? No, what was his injury record like through those seasons?
  2. Seen some kid before the mackem match with 'Keano wanks his dog' on his shirt!
  3. Yeah, but if you do he won't be top of the list. Jimmy Greaves would be miles ahead I would imagine. I was just stating that in reality he has got 283 top flight goals not 260 putting him even further ahead of most on that list bar people like Wright, Ferdinand etc.. A name change means nothing.
  4. Nope, but when you consider I have season reviews from the late 80's when we were seriously shit it is a bit ridiculous not to have released one last year.
  5. I am still convinced that had we stuck with Stefan Guivarch and dumped Shearer, we would be 6 times European Champions by now.
  6. Should always release a season review DVD imo no matter how shit we have been as lots of people like to collect them. It's simple, when we have a shit season, reduce the price. Easy.
  7. It should also be noted that Shearer scored 23 league goals for Southampton in the then First Division before the fancy name change to the Premier League making his real total League goals record 283
  8. Upon seeing this terrible Rangers side get to the final, is anyone else gutted at how seemingly 'lightly' our team used to take this competition back in the day? Man, we had ample opportunities to get to a final and win this fucking thing but we always fucked it up. If Rangers win it I'll be fucking gutted purely due to the fact it will compound how terrible our trophy record is given the chances we have had.
  9. To commemorate our Derby win to the tune of 'That boy Ronaldo' "Owen scored with his heeaaaad, and he scored with his riiiiiggggghhhhttt. Niall Quinn's Disco Pants, Were covered in s h i t e!" Im pretty proud of that one like!
  10. You tend to find the English media report about English players, especially those who play for England. I think Lampard is a little more high profile than N'Zogbia. I agree about Lampard and the English Media but surely the death of N'Zogbia's dad is of a higher profile than the death of Lampards mam on a Newcastle fan site though isnt it?
  11. Agree it is a sad loss for him etc etc but the media reaction has been way over the top. I remember Zoggies dad died last year or so did he get a 4 page thread on here about it?
  12. erm...what's wrong with banners saying that? Exactly. There is nowt wrong with it, but Health & Safety people do not use common sense and will probably tell them they are inciting hatred and such like plus they'll be told to sit down etc etc....meh its Turkey and they will probably do fuck all.
  13. Lol at Galatasary, I cant wait for the day Health and Safety is taken as seriously around the world as it is in the UK and they put a stop to all this 'Hell' nonesense, it would really piss them off. btw, health and safety shite boils my blood but it would be funny in this instance I feel.
  14. Parkhead was about as intimidating as a cricket ground when I went when we played them pre season 2004 I think. I know its only pre-season, but literally nee fucker turned up bar the Geordies.

    Mexican Wave

Aye, thats right the Mexican wave is total shite tbh. As already stated, the first time the majority of British people saw 'the wave' was at Mexico 86 hence the 'Mexican Wave'.
  16. What a cracking article, its just such a refreshing change to be so entusiastic about the future and that last sentence was top class!

    Next season

Taylor, Butt, Geremi, Viduka. As much as I like Viduka and Butt, they are getting a bit over the hill now. Would like Crouch to play Viduka's role in the 3 up front if we stick with it as his touch and flicks etc would give Owen and Martins a field day.
  18. Also, are we not richer than some of these said clubs that we are to become a feeder to?, what with our owners wallet and all?
  19. Stupid to even contemplate becoming a feeder club tbh. I know it sounds ridiculous at the moment but we all want to see our club progress to a stage where we are on a par with the likes of Man U Barca, Real etc etc... and becoming a feeder club would never allow this. If this is not our ambition however far fetched it may seem, we might aswell pack it all in right now and go the f*** home.
  20. Great, great opening quote there, now lets just see whom the sunday papers are linking us with this week!
  21. Yeah it would make for a great atmosphere but only Sunderland, Man U and maybe Liverpool could bring anywhere near that amount to SJP.
  22. The current east stand only holds what 5-7 thousand or something?? If the ground was completed all the way round ie the east stand the same as the milburn it would be about 80k imo. Someone said could we fill it with Champions League football?,.......no we had CL football in 2002 and there were loads of empties in the current stadium. Cup games and European games for us need to be priced MUCH cheaper than league games if we want full houses imo.
  23. Arsenal's looks class but Liverpools is woefull.
  24. Lol, but doesnt that look like a rather 'gay' way of smoking a cigar?
  25. I got parts from the game in quit good quality from my digital camera, was a classy frame of the game, before and in the break, i thought the crossbar challenge was kind of funny. EDIT: actually i recorded the whole opera version of blaydon races... its 238 mb though, can i link it if i find a uploading site? i mean its my own recording and all Youtube is your friend I think You can upload a video of up to 9mins long and 1 gig I think.
