As a player..he was outstanding man. I watched him tear us a new one when with Forest. One of the , if not the best individual players display I have ever seen at SJP. Admittedly didn't go too well at Lolerpool, but the lad was a class act. Defo one of my fave players, so ya boo sucks to you Polic..(winky face.)

I imagine he's being hired because he's happy for the current coaching staff to stay on, which says a lot about his standards if that's how it pans out. If that's the case then he deserves shit from day one. I actually think he is a far better coach than many on here seem to be believe. But if he agrees to work with the utter clueless cretins we have currently then unless he starts like a fooking train then he will deservedly get pelters.

If he comes he HAS to get rid of all the coaching staff. If he does that imo he deserves a chance. He is a very good coach, maybe a tad uninspiring as a manager but maybe with the club set up, hwe could work well with Carr and some talented back room staff. Cull the fucking lot of em. To be fair to them (and I ain't no fan of Le Tissier,Merson et al), I took it more as the whole group of players rather than just targeting the usual lazy forrins BS. And in some respects I concur, not sure I would want many of our lot in the trenches aside me. If the going gets tough today I expect a lot of hiding, maybe a sending off or two and some arguing.
