  1. I signed up yesterday for bt sports large screen through ee. It was free for 3 months, think it's £15 a month after that. Got the xbox app which I'll be waiting games on rather than casting on the phone.
  2. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/kylian-mbappe-will-cost-40m-21892017 French-German politician Daniel Cohn-Bendit believes there will be massive changes to the transfer market when sport returns after the coronavirus outbreak subsides A former member of the European Parliament has predicted that football players will be worth a fraction of their former values due to the coronavirus pandemic. Daniel Cohn-Bendit, a member of French political party Europe Ecology - The Greens, believes superstars such as Kylian Mbappe could be worth as little as €40m (£35m) after the outbreak subsides. The Paris Saint-Germain star is arguably the most valuable player in world football and has been linked with a £250m move to Liverpool or Real Madrid. So, if Cohn-Bendit’s prediction is correct, Mbappe will be worth a staggering £215m less than this valuation, losing 86% of his value. And the French-German politician predicts further changes to the Beautiful Game, including the introduction of a salary cap “This crisis will clean up the irrationality of professional sport. It’s like there was a nuclear attack and it had to be rebuilt, but on other grounds,” Cohn-Bendit told French newspaper Ouest-France. “Tomorrow, Mbappe will cost at most €35-40m and no longer €200m. And who can buy him? “There will be de facto regulation. Going even further on a salary cap could be necessary. It is a reorganisation that goes not only through the players' salaries, but also through the right to images and publicity. “We have to break the system of managers, of those who do business.” Cohn-Bendit believes these sweeping changes would improve sport and help it return to its core values ahead of the Tokyo Olympics - which have been postponed until next summer - and the Paris games in 2024. “A little more sobriety is enough for me,” he added. “A little more sobriety and a little more equality would be a good start. Footballers will not play worse if they are paid less. “Whenever there is a referendum on the Olympic Games, people always say 'no'. Today, people watch the Olympics but don't want that at home. “It is necessary to rethink the gigantism of the Olympic Games and to return to more simplicity. How? I don’t know. It depends on us, the fans.”

  4. What's my name? I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that lol.
  5. Based on purely watching YouTube videos, both look better than Joelinton.
  6. Does any website show stats for tackles made & by who during the game? Got a bet on with sky but for some reason no player stats option for that game, man u vs psg, on the app in play.
  7. It's in dollars so it's roughly £30k
  8. Ssn breaking news that we've enquired about Mangala.
  9. Goes up to £20 on matchday. Thought it might. Cheers mate 👍
  10. Does anyone know if it's a tenner on the door against Forest?
  11. If we don't go out and sign a proficient cam/no 10 I really hope Rafa doesn't stick with this formation. Would rather play 442 or 433 than rely on someone who's not good enough behind the lone striker.
  12. I'd say the fact that the Morrison & Markovic rumours were rubbished & this one hasn't speaks volumes sadly
  13. Don't know if they're all coming from the same source but quite a lot of sites are running the Markovic story now.
  14. Yes several times. Against who? Not sure if he's done anything similar since but I can certainly recall Martinez coming out & defending him saying he wasn't that type of player and then 2 or 3 comments were made of previous incidents which made it look like he had previous.
  15. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/08/08/hb-koge-sporting-director-confirms-newcastle-are-set-to-sign-eli/ Newcastle are close to completing the capture of Danish youngster Elias Fritjof Sorensen, according to bold.dk. The report claims that the youngster spent the early parts of the summer training with the Magpies and has sufficiently impressed enough to earn a permanent switch, citing these quotes from HB Køge sporting director Per Rud: “It is true that we are still talking to Newcastle, and we have had several great conversations with them, and it is likely to end up with a transfer. “As with everything else in this world, I cannot say anything with certainty until it is fully in place, and the ends are not achieved together yet. But I'd be lying if I said that there isn’t some truth, for it is there,” said Rud. 16-year old Sorensen became HB Koge’s youngest ever debutant when he was brought off the bench during a First Division encounter with Silkeborg in May. The Spaniard has overseen a host of changes this summer and there was always going to be an adjustment period for his much-changed squad. He appears undeterred however, and with Sorensen set to join the ranks imminently, there will be one more new face to integrate on Tyneside. He has since made five first team appearances for the Danish club and now looks set to join the Rafael Benitez revolution on Tyneside. Newcastle didn’t begin their Championship title tilt as planned, with a resolute Fulham proving impossible to break down at Craven Cottage on Friday night, and Benitez will be working overtime to ensure his new-look squad gel sooner rather than later.
  16. Probably bullshit but Alan Dzagoev from CSKA rumoured 😃
  17. Soccer Sauce, supposedly reliable, saying we've bid £5m plus add ons for Celta Vigo full back Jonny Castro.
  18. Does anyone know if Mahrez is injured? I know he was supposed to be a doubt, if he doesn't play I think we've got a great chance. Leicester remind me of us when Robert and Bellamy joined. They rely heavily on him and Vardy and look a different team with either of them 2 missing or not playing well.
  19. MidfieldGeneral

    Loïc Remy

According to SSN he's back at the top of Leicesters wants list.
  20. MidfieldGeneral

    Loïc Remy

    Apparently Leicester want him.
  21. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-united-transfers-andros-townsend-10769678 Played his last game for Spurs according to Pochettino.
  22. Absolutely spot on, e veryone is going on about Berahino's attitude etc, he is still young and may learn, Remy has proven to everyone he doesn't give a s*** about anything except money. It shocks me that people think this way about someone who's not done a great deal wrong and could be the difference in staying up and being relegated. If he was driven by money then he'd have signed for QPR after their first offer and not spurned them on a couple of occasions before finally accepting one that he'd have been stupid to refuse. The he turned down the chance to join us after his loan move to join the team that went on the become champions. And ? Most people would have had Cabaye back, myself included, but he done far worse to us than Remy did. Personally I would rather have someone proven, with a questionable attitude than a kid who's relatively unproven with one. I really don't think that makes sense like, the fact he had no interest in QPR until they threw big money at him hardly shows that he isn't driven by money. I know what you are saying but I still think that if he was driven by money he'd have gone to QPR for an extra 5k a week. If the reports were true he knocked them back 3 times before accepting double the amount we were offering as well as being told he could leave if they went down. At the end of the day he wanted to come to England, had no affinity to either club, both clubs are struggling and a place apart at the bottom end of the league, one's offering him the chance to play in front of 50 thousand every other week up North, the other is offering him double the wages, London and the chance to leave if it's relegated ? Being realistic would anyone not do what he did in that situation ?
