Jjb have the 3 for 2 offer on again until Monday so I'm pleased I didn't buy this last week now.

I normally buy the long sleeved shirts but I think I prefer the short sleeved version of the new shirt.

If the black shirt that Shola is wearing in the video is one of the new away kits (Saylor is also seen wearing the long sleeved version) then I have my doubts about an orange kit because Shola appears again wearing the same style top in white (looks like Spurs current home strip).

I thought that was obvious?! Remember the Henry/Pires penalty shambles a while back? I can yeah but I didn't realise that if the ball directly hits the woodwork, and then ends up back at the feet of the penalty taker without anyone else touching it, if the pen taker touches the ball it's a freekick to the side who conceded the pen.

Am I the only person who didn't know that when someone takes a penalty that player cannot play the ball a 2nd time unless it has touched someone else ?

To be fair, Liverpool bought Carroll for £35m and apparently he will be out injured for another 5 to 8 weeks. They signed him on a 5 and a half year contract where as we've got Ireland on loan until the end of the season.

Why we didn't go for him, is unbelievable. Even more so when we played a part in Chelsea signing Torres ffs.

I've given this place a swerve over the last few days and haven't kept upto date with what's already been said so apologies if this has been mentioned. Did anyone see the Pardew interview on Late Kick Off a few weeks ago when he was asked about the speculation of players leaving the club in Jan ? He immediately said no one will be leaving unless they want to go and hand in a transfer request. At the time it seemed to me like a strange thing to say, an almost planned answer and not the 1st thing that would spring to mind when asked what he was asked. Also Dalglish is doing my head in the hypocritical c***!!! How the f*** can he sit there and slate Torres about the timing of his transfer request, handed in with 3 days left before the transfer window closed, when he bid and unsettled Carroll with only hours left to go ??

Couldn't agree more mate. The majority of the England players I hate week in, week out when they're playing in the premier league and find it very hard to support them when they're playing for the national team. Same as when an English club are in Europe and people moan at ya for not wanting them to do well. I hate Manure, Chelsea & Liverpool (nowt against Arsenal) but love the likes of Barcelona and watch most of their games. So why would I want a team that I despise to beat a team that I like just because of where they're from ?

Do you honestly think we're gonna sign anyone today ?

Season 2008/2009 52 starts - 17 goals - 13 assists - Citys player of the year, Greater Manchester player of the year. 2009/2010 24 starts - 4 goals - 4 assists According to my mate who's a City fan, Ireland was often played out of position but started most games (09/10) up until Hughes was sacked in December, then hardly started a game once Mancini took over. Even though his goals and assists for 09/10 are well down on what he done the previous season it still on par with Bartons stats for us this season, his best for us by far since joining. 21 starts - 3 goals - 6 assists. He's obviously having a shitter at Villa but surely he's worth a punt on loan.

According to SSN we sent someone to watch him yesterday but he was an unused sub. Out of contract at the end of the season so definitely sounds like an Ashley type signing.
