  1. Wow. When's the last time Chamakh scored... saw he got booked today. He's had a brilliant time in England just picking his wage.
  2. Nah, there's so much hay all over the place that we can't even see the donkey anymore.
  3. Thought Mitro should have done better with that power shot. Just went all lashing out and little control. At least it was on target, but keeper just stayed big and didn't seem too troubled. Shot across goal and could have put the game to bed.
  4. 8 shots on target in the first half... It's a revolution!
  5. Been told he's involved today, or just standard good will message? Man, I really this guy manages to be decent
  6. Wow, didn't even know this was on the cards. Will be interesting to see how he does straight away. Southampton have done well. Not having the best of seasons but acting before things get too desperate.
  7. Insane. Choose football, choose life, choose Ben Arfa.
  8. What I was thinking yesterdat when I saw the Pavel programme cover. They are class.

    Florian Thauvin

We've taken the exact same approach with this guy than with Cabella 12 prior. We might as well have kept the first one. Nice little futile exercise that has cost the club 12 million.
  10. Any time Rooney needs a few goals. He knows he can count on us.
  11. Much like Neymar's goal earlier, as Messi let it go he was clearly interfering I thought.
  12. What do you mean? Just the fact that supporting Newcastle has nothing to do with supporting Ashley and Sports Direct, the fans at the match today will have been going to games long before the fat bastard came Herr and will be going long after he has gone I just think it's very harsh to tar them with the brush that because they support their team they support Ashley which is 100% not the case It is unfortunately very naive to still be hoping this is the case. There's no reason for him to change the way he runs the club. NUFC continues to be one of the best supported clubs in Europe. The horrific state of the stadium should be enough of a strong symbol to prove that if there is even a "massine line that separates Newcastle United and Sports Direct", it's about as wide as the gap between two of the SD signs placated around the ground.
  13. From a purely sporting perspective surely it was correct to give it to Aubameyang. Which is why Toure isn't arguing the point from a sporting perspective, but rather bringing up this gripe. Very bitchy. They officials should buy him a cake to calm him down.
  14. Eh, what happened there? Actually, seeing the goals in succession like that: you can see he looks chunkier for that penalty than once the season got properly under way.
  15. Took him a while to get his first, but once he did he got a few in quick succession. Had forgotten about that, but yeah, you can probably pinpoint his downfall to that very moment.
  16. Likewise... Born in 1983 like myself so I remember very well when we signed him. Took a little while to get going but he was brilliant in the 02-03 season.
  17. Watched the game with my Everton supporting mate, and he was raving about Besic. As much about his hair parting than his actual ability though, which was a bit weird.
  18. With the fantastic new Wonga kit too. Ugh.
