I think Mourinho is definitely on the decline. Whatever he once 'had' has been sussed and neutralised by the other elite coaches, he's played his hand (very well at times) but his tactics seem dated now. Other coaches know what's coming and can counter it, given the players. I'd suggest taking the Portugal job next time it crops up would be a decent move.

Imagine if that was Shelvey. It would have been replayed in ultra slow motion about six times. Then on MOTD highlights they would have shown their disgust and insist on a ban. Sunday Supplement would have absolutely analyzed the action and insisted that the Premier League hierarchy abolish Shelveys contract with immediate effect. That was a red card and the Man Utd player doesn't even get spoken to by the referee. Disgraceful! I'm still furious. Nobody in the studio made any reference to the incident which warranted a red card and nobody on here has brought it up other than STM. Is it me or what? The fact it's taken so long and has been so drawn out is because I think they (officially/unofficially??) failed it a month or so ago. They got cold feet about the WTO report and about the repercussions about the piracy. I think they let people know what needed to be done in order for it to pass and those things are (or have) now being put in place and it's a matter of time before it's rubber stamped by the PL. It's a case of PIF and SA jumping through the hoops the PL have told them to in order to get it passed. All just a hunch without any evidence whatsoever.
