  1. No matter what he does he's going to get pelters for it regardless. That's his job though isn't it? He's in a position to sort of work this out - if it goes well then happy days, if he fucks it up then it's down to him. No-one's got a pistol to his head. Whatever team he picks, he's going to get stick for it. That's my point. He'll be gone at the end of the season. He's not worth getting worked up over. I'm not getting worked up over it though. No idea where you're going with this tbh. Wasnt on about you specifically. It was a broader statement at those who piss and moan about everything he does or doesn't do. So you're complaining about the reactions to the things the worst manager in PL history (using win %) has done in advance. No bother, away you go Is he our worst manager in the PL % wise? He's gone at the end of the season. There's only a few weeks left of it. He's not worth the energy man. He's the worst manager in PL history (win %) To try and spin it otherwise is just ridiculous. He's fucking shocking and has been for nearly quarter of a century, he's not suddenly become good since July. End of conversation. No idea why you're telling me something I already agree with Why bother quoting it and replying to it then? You seem to be under the impression I want Bruce at Newcastle or at the very least think I like Bruce. I don't. I agree he's total and utter dogshit. You don't need to keep telling me. Can't be arsed. Get on with the cunt

  7. That's the main thing I think he got right. Right players at the right time and it created a goal. He does need to mix it up a little for City though or it'll implode
  8. He's going to have to get his thinking cap on for City like. Can't name the same XI 3 times in a week and not expect to pick up injuries, he'll have to shuffle things up a bit and rotate.
  9. Yep. His hamstring goes it's season over, for him and Newcastle
  10. He's got loads of skill and ability but I honestly wouldn't trust him to play in any position in the defensive 2/3's. He's not a CD, he's shocking there. He's not got the engine to be a modern FB. He's not got the positional discipline to play CDM and he's too sloppy to play normal CM. He's unique, a talented player with no position to play in.
  11. Don’t think he’s out of contract. He’s 33, they only paid £8m for him last year so you’d think he’d have a year left. Fuck.
  12. Is he out of contract? It's a staggeringly bad decision obviously and the only possible reason for keeping him is in the hope that some mug will come along and buy him for a fee rather than lose him for nothing. And they wonder why they're mid table fodder
  13. Must admit it took me a few replays to decide who actually committed the foul.
  14. Nasty one for Lamptey. Smashed mouth and looked like his head hit off the turf as he landed too.
  15. BeIN spitting their dummy out and stamping their feet isn't going to endear them to the PL I'd imagine. There's only 80 fixtures left this season before it all starts again. If that's their play obviously.
  16. Just started over the last week or two. Series A has been a mainstay of the free to watch on betting sites aswell. Unlikely to be linked with the TV rights issues that BeIN are referring to then?

    Sunderland

What was the little phrase he came out with a few months ago? Did he call the fans the "Sunderland disease" or something?
  18. If you've got the LiveScore app then they're currently streaming both of the Serie A games going on atm. Not sure if this is common but I've never noticed it before.
  19. Appears to be the case. I was really surprised at how poor they looked. I fully expected them to come back after 3 months off and be strong, physical and motivated like they were in August and September. Got it totally wrong, their heads dropped after the first goal and they just seemed to coast through the rest of the game.
  20. Did anything actually happen to Guendozi for punching Maupay in the guts at the end of the Arsenal game? Any retrospective action, delayed red cards or video looked at?
  21. Can't understand anyone who looks solely at a result and completely disregards how it was obtained. No context, no story, no background nothing. Just check the result after 90 mins and ignores everything else. It boils down to how much credit you give to Bruce for the good results, personally I think an awful lot of the good results are down to luck rather than the tactical acumen and guidance of Bruce. People will agree or disagree and that's fair enough. His results since he started managing would suggest he's not very good at his job though. I'll give him credit for squad morale though, they look a happy and committed bunch. He can have that.
  22. Earned a chance. Dear me. He's a woeful manager and always has been. He's been managing for 22 years and he's promoted 2 teams from the Championship and lost an FA Cup final. That's it. He's not won a single thing as a manager and he's go the worst win % in PL history. He's palpably and demonstrably dogshit as a manager as always has been. He's done nothing in his previous 21 seasons to even deserve another crack at the PL in July 2019 with any club. To credit him now is ignoring 21 years worth of evidence that he's very poor at his job. It's a blip. It happens now and again, it's happening now, he isn't suddenly a good manager who's flipped a switch and decided to be good for 30 games. If people want to give him credit then they're more than welcome. If he repeats it for the next 3 or 4 seasons here or elsewhere and proves it's not a bit of a fluke then I'll change my mind.
  23. Oh look, VAR favours Real. Huge surprise.
