Delighted Bayern want him, the thought of us funding their new investments was nauseating. Never rated him, his numbers looked better than his overall play, the Chelsea Murphy
-
Obvious question for me - who would do the review?
-
Reasons not to do this: 1. He's fucking shit 2. He's fucking expensive 3. They'll take our money and invest in 3 payers who will all become better than Nicolas Fucking Jackson We're absolutely fucking shit at this transfer shit if he's even near the radar. The whole thing has fallen apart
-
And before anyone comes out with the old "oh, there's still time, window doesn't close for another x days" then I'd say time without the ability to actually do anything is useless. There could be a fucking decade left but if the people in charge of getting shit done are completely unable to get shit done then the deadline is irrelevant. Time to sort shit out counts for nothing if the ability to sort shit out is missing. This is exactly where we are
-
Need to check out of this window for a bit. It's fucking AIDS Daft thing is that I believe we're fucking dumb enough to do anything that's even mentioned here. We're that shit off the park. It's a complete shitshow
-
Problem is the whole sport know we're absolutely fucking useless, the prices will go through the roof, agents will take the piss and exploit the incompetence we've shown all summer. That's all assuming we can even get them to the table in the first place. Difficult to come back from this level of shite. The time is there to salvage it absolutely but the decisions they're making are so bad and random it gives off the impression they're now panicking and there's zero strategy nor ability to get shit done. I know I'm catastrophising but I'm struggling to see anything else atm

Squad is going to be on its knees by November at this rate. Players run into the ground, young kids expected to do jobs they're not ready for and a huge disappointment in the CL and league too. All the ingredients are right there, this summer is the first domino to fall. They've collectively fucked it and I'm as sick as fuck about it. This is going to set us back to square 2, 3 years of progress thrown away in just a couple of months. Fucking livid with them
-
Longstaff out and Mcginn in, in isolation, wouldn't have been a bad move at all a month or 2 ago. But his age, his potential fee and the fact he's coming from a direct rival make it an utterly bizarre move. If it's true Full on panic-mode now in operation
-
This is my issue - yes, PSR does restrict us in many ways but it's too easy to point the finger. PSR doesn't stop us from having good communication between the people inside the operation day-to-day and between the club and the fans. It doesn't stop us from replacing important people off the field when they sadly fall ill and physically can't do the job any longer. It doesn't stop scouting from being ramped up so we're constantly looking for new players to improve the squad. It doesn't stop us putting structures in place to ensure there's clarity within roles and contingencies in case people move on. I could go on The club is a mess off the field and we're now in a position where we've got loads more matches to play with a smaller, poorer squad and a transfer team who can't seem to get deals done. I know it's deeply negative but they've been here for long enough now to get their shit in a pile and they simply haven't. It's been blown apart this summer and I think unfortunately it's almost inevitable we now regress on the pitch as a result of the incompetence off the pitch, it's and humiliating and pathetic window so far. Blaming PSR/Isak/Mitchell is all well and good but we've caused many of our own problems imo
-
Having managed to get just 1 permanent deal done in 11 weeks I have zero faith in us 'Just getting any fucker', let alone anyone highly regarded. Lot's of excuses being made and pointing at PSR/Isak but we still had/have money to spend. Absolutely no reason why some of the other gaps in the squad couldn't have been plugged in the last few months. It's been a shambles so far and time left to salvage it is ticking by. Still maintain this window could well be one we look back on in 20 years time as the start of this beginning to unravel
-
Please find out if he even wants to play for the club first
-
It's like ATN calling Wisconsin* *niche
-
Really could have done with the y=x line drawn on tbh, but there you go, lies, damned lies and statistics. If Benjamin Sesko put his head in an oven and his feet in a freezer on average he'd be comfortable
-
I'm saying they're all on the same page in so far as wanting to take away as much money as possible. Leipzig won't give a fuck about his Man U wage either but they all know if they play the game and drag it out they'll all benefit
-
They're all working together to get the biggest transfer fee, the biggest wage and the biggest signing-on fee they possibly can. Stringing it out for as long as possible ensures Leipzig, Sesko and his agent all make as much dollar possible.
-
He does. He just knows that if he delays long enough he'll be in the box seat when it comes to sorting out his final wage with Man U. May not be much but every penny seems to count
-
Note for Newcastle 'transfer team' () Q1. Do you want to play for Newcastle United? If they even pause to think about it - move the fuck on
-
Fucker made his mind up weeks ago tbh

Honestly think this could well be the most disappointing window for a decade or 2. We've had worse ones but those happened when there was virtually zero expectation and everyone got exactly what they were expecting - fuck all. This one feels very different for other reasons, this was the window we were supposed to close the gap, sign the players we needed to, plug some of the gaps using the previous 18 months to scout and get things set but it's just been a huge bag of wank. Feel genuinely sorry for Elanga as he's the only positive to happen, you could add Ramsdale who seems like a nice lad but that's about it. 11 weeks and only 1 impact signing as others have left us for dust. We've waited patiently for ages, finally got money to spend but just can't get the deals done. I'm sure they've tried but they certainly haven't delivered and it's been pathetic. Never expected miracles but I did expect competence, organisation, strategy and flexibility but I've seen absolutely none of that. Bet Howe and the squad are fucking livid too
-
They generate a huge sum of money though despite being absolute pigshit on the park. They're always going to throw cash at it until they gradually improve and end up back in the top half again
-
The deliberate stalling from player and club always felt a bit off from the start. Not going to criticise the club for this move in particular as I think they've gone in full tilt to get him but he just wants a different club. However he can now be added to the long list of players we've moved in for and failed to tie up. It looks shit from the outside and fingers are rightly going to be pointed at how we've simply not got shit done throughout this window
