  1. Serbs look fucking huge. Got some proper units in there
  2. They're threatening to walk away from a deal Everton (I'm pretty sure) want no part of
  3. Gave me a tenner but if it comes in it'll pay for my weekend bets, I don't bet big I'll do the Musiala one too fwiw
  4. McSauce foul is evens on PP
  5. Yeah, it's fine to go in low at first but it's got to be reasonable and in the same ballpark. Can imagine Everton are looking for at least double that, not saying they'll get it or he's worth it, but going in at 35 is ridiculous, it's straight out of the Ashley playbook and screams smalltime, tyre-kicking, time-wasting arseholes. Wonder if he's doing the bidding himself?
  6. Who knows? Maybe he thought he needed to fight for his place? Maybe it wasn't made clear to him that he was now surplus to requirements? I have no idea, honestly But I think if he stays - which he's perfectly entitled to btw - then he'll see his contract run out and he'll be trying to get a new club having played virtually no football from 2024 to 2026. That's a tough sell for any agent. It's clear we're after a shiny new RW and he'll have limited playing time for the next 2 years. I think he needs the move as much as we need the cash tbph

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Very similar to the Tosin thread tbh - they can offer things we simply can't match, namely bigger wages, better location and European football (next season). I'd love him to sign but I can't see it happening unfortunately
  8. So his realistic options are - sit it out here for 2 years whilst barely playing and having a poor chance of a decent contract from another club in 2026 OR move now and sign one last big contract worth enough that makes playing in Saudi worthwhile. No brainer imo. Moving is the sensible choice

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Olise would be ridiculous up here, worth an extra 8 or 9 points by himself imo. Really encouraging that we've had the bollocks to go for it and inquire about him but I think he'll have a few better offers from other clubs and he'll end up elsewhere unfortunately. Still, nice to see ambition and competing with huge clubs for excellent players, we're getting there. Also means we must have some decent coin to spend this summer
  10. When does his contract expire? I could look it up but I'm lazy
  11. I think encasing the freedom for owners to spend equal amounts needs to come in. Allowing us or Villa or anyone else to have unlimited spending is not acceptable, it'll make it purely a richest owner contest. That said deliberately not allowing richer owners to invest more just solidifies the status quo and the same teams are untouchable.
  12. Fair play, you know far more about the club than most on here but all of that above doesn't hint at a settled and happy squad. Some of the performances I've seen Man U put in this season have been some of the worst, tepid, disorganised, flat and utterly shit I've seen from that team going back to the 80s tbph. They have phoned it in many, many times over the last year or so and if that's indicative of a squad that's behind the manager then you've got a lot to be worried about imo. 8th in the League and a negative goal difference is really poor when the bar is so high
  13. Didn't you say he was the leak within the squad a while back? Surely leaking shit could possibly be a hint that he may not like the boss and/or is unhappy but more than willing to stir the shit to create problems that his boss needs to deal with?

    'Unnamed candidates'? That's handy
  15. Absolutely no problem with them digging their heels in tbh, they're entitled to do so. We're also entitled to sit and wait while they operate without a DoF for another 15 months or whatever it is
  16. Sounds like he'll fit right in at Chelsea then
  17. Perfectly happy with their decision tbh. After finishing 8th in the league last year I'm sure he's the bloke to get them challenging at the top again like they used to

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Aye, once mistakes start costing goals, games and points on a regular basis the previous good games go out of the window. It's absolutely true that when he walked in he was really good and a genuine asset to the team and the club. Now his performances have dipped so much that he's a hinderance and a genuine weak link. Not going to say playing him cost us European football as we'll never actually know that, but he was really really poor at times and we conceded far too many with him in goal. Frustration turns to anger and anger leads to hate. Hate leads to the dark side etc
  20. How many clubs is that now? 4? City, Villa, Forest and Leicester? Something's got to give at some point and it'll need to be completely revamped or the PL will collapse imo. It'll tear itself apart - member clubs taking legal action against the collective of the remaining clubs simply isn't sustainable
  21. Mainly that yeah tbh. Incidents like that are very telling about where player's priorities lie and his seemed to be all about himself rather than the team. It was a huge red flag for me
  22. Madueke seems like an utter arsehole and don't want him under any circumstances. Olise on the other hand would have fitted in up here superbly and it's infuriating that those cunts get him into their pool
