It is forcing the issue though and it's a genuine and serious bid for a quality player who should get even better as he comes into his prime. I just think we need to consider him as 'medium term injured' and get on without him. Sign the players we were needing to sign anyway and continue to say no to them. If he had an acl or whatever we'd just have to get on with it and make do until he was available again, we'd survive, wouldn't be pretty but we'd get by.
