Shit tackle that puts us under the pump for the next 3 plus shafting us tonight. 1 shit decision has a direct impact on 4 games ffs. Last minute before HT and he lunges in like that into a nothing tackle like that where the absolute best he can do is to block the pass and give them a throw. 4 fucking games because of it, 7% of the season where the club and the player miss out because he wanted to equalise the shoulder last year. Thick as fuck

I can think of a couple tbf

Agree totally and it's taken just 1 game to throw all of that in the shitter. Injuries are part and parcel of the game, it's unfortunate to lose 3 in the same game but it's happened and we've lost another to suspension so that's 4 players in one night. Our squad can't cope with that and it'll have an impact on the team we pick at Leeds on Saturday. We're essentially back to square 1. Other teams (not constrained like we are) can easily cope with that but we can't. I'm already dreading looking at the bench for Leeds
-
And who's going to take their places? The squad has gone from anorexic to thin this window, there are no other options now. We've gone from having 13 good players to having 17, that's still not enough. It's no-one's fault but we're still lacking that adequate depth
-
No chance he's playing on with a dislocated shoulder, he'd have been off immediately. Thankfully there's only Leeds then an international break so he could only miss maybe 1 game. Fingers crossed - just shows how thin the squad remains even after adding to it, this is what is going to nail us this season. We're only 2 games in and already we have doubts over Tonali, Joelinton and Botman & Schar is concussed and Gordon sits out the next 3

So CM is down to the bare bones after 3 hours of football? Cush

There was literally a few seconds to go before HT and he goes flying in like that? Temperament has to be under question, I can understand a bit of red mist but there was no-one winding him up, he was chasing across the pitch, saw the ball and smashed him. Even blocking the pass would have meant a Liverpool throw even if he gets there. It's cost us a point tonight that decision, no question in my mind and the fact he's dried up with goals recently means he has it all to do. Once he serves his 3 match ban...

That's another absolute dagger to the heart game. Was bad enough when Nunez did it a couple of years ago but tonight feels far more self-inflicted. Imagine if Gordon stays on and we're 11 vs 11 that second half?? Now imagine if our prize CF was professional enough to continue to actually play his heart out, honour his contract and make a difference on the pitch rather than down tools and go on fucking strike?? I'm fucking livid but mainly at how the cunts who've orchestrated this whole situation have somehow scored in the 100th minute to beat us yet again. I need to log the fuck off tbh
-
Fucking brain dead decisions yet again. What the fuck was he expecting? Put his team right in the shit. AGAIN.
-
Mint first 30 mins, blowing a bit so we back off a bit, they score as a direct consequence of us throwing the fucking ball to them in our own third and Gordon sees a chance for revenge for the v Dijk shoulder and we're now utterly fucked. Pure self destruct button stuff

If the cheaper one couldn't be fitted until the middle of January I'd pay (through gritted teeth) for the pricier one

It's a ridiculous price but we're in a ridiculous situation. The club have known Wilson was leaving months ago and we're still scrambling around with a week to go. The Isak situation is a shitshow and hasn't helped but we needed another body in regardless of Isak. I appreciate they've gone after quality but, for whatever reasons, we've been knocked back each time. Sometimes you just need to bite the bullet an overpay to solve a huge problem. If you boiler dies in the second week of October you just need to either cough up and replace it or shiver all winter. Whether it's this fucker or Wissa or whoever, the fee is guaranteed to be huge because we have a huge problem to solve
-
Already furious about how we're going to be fucked over tonight. No idea if it's the ref or VAR or both but I'm already pre-angry, like, it's loaded and ready to fucking blow at 10pm This isn't normal

Was nothing more than a "raise the roof" metaphor

*unless it's in the lush lasses thread and we automatically like it as he's posted another banger* Football board? Maybe not so much

Can't even express how much I want to hit these cunts hard tomorrow night. Absolutely nail them from the first whistle, they're the champions and they're clearly better than us but we smashed them at Wembley just a few months ago and are perfectly capable of doing so again. I'd normally say we need to keep our heads and not fly in but tomorrow night is the exception - I want us to hit them like a fucking bomb every time they get hold of it. Be clean but be fucking hard in the tackle, leave bruises, let the arsehole cunts know they're playing a proper team. I'll take a defeat as long as they collectively limp out of SJP at 11pm and back on their bus to their little shit-tip

Sure it's just (Liverpool legend) Carragher, (Recent Sunderland board member) Jones & Henry. Can't wait to mute such an impartial and definitively impartial build up and break down of the game. Sky have got it right, yet again. Praise the Lord, they're amazing, sooo unbiased
-
Classic example of why fans hate VAR. Bit of contract that happens at every corner at both ends and it's given for the first time after a minute of looking at it from different angles in order to see if they can gift Man U a goal. It's not the decision itself is the fact he'll not give another one for something identical at the other end. It's utter bullshit

'Mafianakis' is a nice touch

Given how friendly the fixtures have fallen then today is a big negative for them. Fair enough they smacked West Ham at home but getting snuffed out away at Burnley cancels that out tbh. They needed to may hay from the first few games before they actually start playing the better teams in the league
-
Whole spine of the West Ham team is basically non-existent. They're poor from back to front and only have a couple of players of quality here and there but all of their magic is erased by general pretty part and a compete inability to defend or track runners. They look awful and need a complete overhaul, dare I say it but it might take a relegation to clear the decks and start again here. They're honking

Good move for him and Boro tbh. He's always worked hard and given his all but unfortunately 'his all' just isn't quite up to where the club are and are looking to be in the future. No axe to grind, hope he goes and does really well, got a feeling he'll shine in the Championship where he'll get more time and he'll look far better. Good luck to him
