  1. I'm just hoping the Rafa factor has changed things a bit. Absolutely. Fingers crossed he's managed to drill them a bit but I don't expect it to be enough, know it's dead pessimistic but I'm virtually resigned to going down, very much hope I'm wrong though.
  2. After scoring just 7 goals away from home all season I've got no faith in them scoring the 2 or 3 they're going to needed in order to win tomorrow. I can see us playing reasonably well and losing narrowly again. Struggle to keep clean sheets and score more than one a game.
  3. What the fuck goes through his mind? A elderly comedian has died, I know, I'll mention it in my press conference and I'll also have a pop at his height to try and make the lads laugh a bit. I'll look mint.

... which is what I said to a degree, except that when we're down things just appear to add to the general curse we have - that curse being all of the above, as well as some poxy pikey hex thrown on the club. Wasn't aimed at you directly chap. If/when we go it won't be down to individual pieces of luck it'll be a succession of poor decisions made at all levels of the club from playing, to managing to overseeing the club in it's entirety. It's not bad luck, it's rank bad decisions and bad practise that have us in 19th place with 8 games to go. We're just wank really aren't we Yep. Elliot or Darlow, Mitrovic or Cisse, 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, it's not the little things that'll send us down it's the way the club has been run for the last 5 years or so. We deserve to go down, not 100% sure we'll go down but we certainly deserve to.

The stars haven't aligned, we've been largely poor for the first 30 games with the odd notable exception. We've been badly managed and coached for several years, we've signed layers for the wrong reasons and wasted lots of money on players either unsuitable or unnecessary. We're down there because of the way the club and team has been poorly run for a sustained period of time. Rob Elliot twisting his knee isn't the reason we're staring relegation in the face, we're fucking shit and the players don't care. We're not down there by mistake or accident or fluke.

First England friendly I've enjoyed for yonks. They were excellent and that XI should be the core for the summer now. Fuck Rooney, Sterling and Sturridge, that worked tonight.

Poor all round from Butland. If you're a keeper and you know you're fucked then you go down and stop the game for treatment or to make the sub.

I literally can't move about for this happening all day like. Very inconsiderate of them.

  11. Union Berlin extend contract of cancer sufferer Benjamin Köhler http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/06/union-berlin-extend-contract-cancer-stricken-player Compare and contrast folks.
  12. Hope we stay up but if we don't I hope we plummet. A single relegation is the worst outcome, either none or 3 please.

  14. Feels like about the 10th time I've seen Kompany hobble off after a few minutes coming back from an injury.

    Dogawful Officiating

He gave us 4 free kicks in the entire match.
  16. He'll organise us but the players who make up our back 4 will always make daft individual errors which generally result in goals. He's an excellent manager but he can't legislate for that and ultimately this will undo us imho. He'll tighten us up as a unit but we'll still concede ridiculous goals and that won't change until we can replace the back 4.
  17. Is there anything you want to get off your chest Robert?
