On the contrary I think it comes naturally to the wankers who own and run the club. This is their default, the fact we all find it so obnoxious speaks volumes of them as human beings.
-
I think this is just another example of the club being outed as an impersonal, insincere, uncaring and cold organisation. They don't give a single fuck about the people at/in the organisation and everything is done a a means to an end, no emotion, no empathy, keep the illusion going enough to keep the status quo. Like the Wizard of Oz being revealed as just a bloke pedalling away trying to maintain the charade and failing miserably. Utter, utter cunts to a man.

The club needs Vieira or Garde. The club will get McClaren or Carver.

Fat Sam and Sunderland seem a good fit to me tbh. I think he'd do reasonably well there as their only expectation is to stay up, 17th seems to be celebrated like a trophy and he'll deliver that for them year on year. Who knows, he may even guide them to mid-table obscurity in a few seasons? Poyet tried to implement a possession game, bit dull by all accounts, but he tried to get them to play football and he got chased out of town. Sam's 'up and at 'em' approach suits the way the fans expectations. Graft over craft and always has been.

This is Rocky Balboa stuff. Looked dead and buried 20 minutes ago.

2-2 Higgy Rascal.
-
Lazio down to 10.
-
Napoli get one back. Higuain.
-
Lazio 2 up at Napoli. Game over tbh.

Bill McCracken. So good they had to change the rules.

The disturbing thing in that poll is that two people have voted Carver. Lee Ryder clearly reads this forum. Don't know who the other idiot is though. I'll give you a clue: he's on holiday atm.

Considering he's Spanish, a Real Madrid fan, from there and coached their reserves i very much doubt it. It really means nothing. They'll hate the football and they'll be right. Exactly. Could well be wrong but I've always got the impression that Real fans not only demand success but they also demand that success is gained in a certain way. Goals, attacking football and wiping teams off the park. Superstars playing like superstars with no margin for error.

Not the finished article though... Needs to make his novice mistakes at some club where it doesn't really matter though - here.

Totally disengaged at the minute, no enthusiasm, no optimism and no prospect of anything other than Carver so I'd be pleased if we took a chance. No idea if it would work out, probably not, but at least I'd give a shit again. Been ages since I cared and a change is as good as a rest at this little nadir.

He'd walk into the job as player/manager even now. Don't mind rolling the dice to see what happens (but I must admit it does have car crash written all over it tbh).

Ah, I see. Nnnnggghhh.

I've said before (in this thread, I think), that there's probably a stadium advertising deal with SD at one pound a year for 99 years. £1 a year for 99 years. I'll dig into my pocket to pay that one off early. I think he means that SD pay £1 a year for 99 years to advertise the stadium?

Still don't see how he can realistically appoint Carver without becoming an enormous figure of ridicule throughout the entire sport. He came out in January and said they have received 80 applications and he ignored all of them and went with Carver. We all saw the car-crash coming and it duly did. He almost relegated us with the worst run of defeats in the club's entire history in his 5 months in charge. Option 1: If Charnley chooses to make him permanent he'll be rinsed by everyone. Option 2: If Charnley is forced to appoint him because he can't find/convince someone better to do the job he'll get rinsed twice as much. The way I see it he simply must appoint someone else to avoid looking like the biggest mug on the planet. Who'd be a bigger mug - Carver or the sackless cunt who makes Carver permanent? He's got to go with someone else, he just has to.
-
If someone comes along and offers him daft money (highly unlikely I know) for the club then he'll sell. Everything has a price and he knows this as well as anyone. He's also a proven liar.

Not very much over the course of 110 yards (or whatever) tbh! Had a little kick about on the pitch after the tour and you hardly even notice the slope. It does tail off a little towards the Gallowgate but nothing that's going to make any real difference to anything. Purely placebo stuff. Aye just wondered what it would even out as. Was hoping for some maths porn like. Steady on, pet.

Doesn't need to an exact measurement, just a rough idea. It's about 6 foot. Went on the tour last year with the boy and the bloke mentioned it. The pitch is virtually level but the advertising hoardings sink by about 6 foot from one end to the other.
