In all seriousness I'd vey much like to think the sheer volume of huge games we've played in over the last 10 months will stand us in good stead. We've had some massive games and atmospheres to deal with and I'd like to think we'll be fairly unfazed by the SoL on Saturday. We've had a Cup final at Wembley, games away in Milan, Dortmund and Paris, beat City, Man U x2 and Arsenal at home, we're used to playing and winning big games of football when a lot has been on the line - they're used to Plymouth, Stoke and Birmingham and whatever every week. They're far more likely to lose their heads than we are imo. I know they'll have the crowd for the first 15 mins but weather that first initial storm and we'll settle into the game and control it Hopefully. No daft mistakes, keep control and they'll eventually crumble even though, for some of their squad, it'll be the biggest game of their lives. Stick with the plan, compete physically and the quality we undoubtedly have will see things through. They all know this too

Got absolutely no problems with agents making loads of dollar.....as long as it's the player's who are paying them. If a club asks for an agent's help finding a player then fair enough but the agent getting an obscene cut of the transfer fee has never sat well with me.

It's also very noticeable that there's a complete lack of buzz or energy about the place any more. The whole squad looks so deflated and they all look shattered both mentally and physically, which is a worry as we're only halfway through the season. Those tough fixtures every few days have well and truly caught up with the players and they're playing like they're fucked, the tough game have taken so much out of them that the easier games are also being lost and we're several layers down the downward spiral now. Out of Europe, out of the League Cup whilst simultaneously falling out of contention in the League in the last 4 or 5 weeks too with 3 ridiculously tough League fixtures on the horizon. Howe needs to find something from somewhere soon. I sincerely want him to fix this but I think the patience of the owners is only so long

Not so sure I like the sound of that tbh. Difficult to say when you don't hear the quote itself but it could be construed as his challenging his players to step it up. He's also got to be accountable for results and performances too, I hope he's not pushing it all on the players as that rarely ends up working out well for managers

Cracking hat-trick tbh, second goal was mint. We made it very easy for him but he still took his goals well, fair play, got to just take it on the chin sometimes.

He absolutely deserves the chance to turn this around and get the club back on track but I'm not totally sure he's going to get that time. It's the nature of the performances that's the most worrying thing for me. We look a shadow of the side that people genuinely feared last season, we're lush to play against and have been for some time. The intensity has (understandably) vanished, the edge we had, the momentum we generated have disappeared. We look a shambles at the back, CM get played through with simple passes and we can't seem to convert any chances even if we are on top in games. The whole thing just looks a big fucking mess every time we play atm. I know there's a lot of context and we've had some horrendous luck with injuries but that doesn't mask how bad it's been, you can only trot that out so often and for so long. I hope he stays but he needs some fucking performances, not necessarily results, pdq. Doing the same thing each week isn't fucking working, not addressing that is his biggest issue, it's not the fact we're getting dicked, it's how badly we're looking in the process

Exactly. The optics behind sacking Robson looked poor from the outside at the time but those watching the games each week saw it start to unfold months before it came to a head. If anything he should have been moved on/up sooner. He was superb but he lost a handle on the club and his team unfortunately.

Often wonder how Sheff Utd's fans are liking this season. Had a great season last year to come up in second, get promoted and then they have to sit through 30+ batterings when the most they can realistically achieve is to hang on for a point. Begs the question - what's the point? Is it better to play nice football, win lots of games and generally enjoy watching your team or just get promoted, throw the towel in, get £130m then go straight back down again? Absolutely this Easy to forget that they all signed the contracts and put it into operation, they weren't just kicking the idea of it about, they discussed it, organised it between themselves, signed the contracts and launched the fucking thing. It was only pulled because of the backlash from fans and hope that your post happens immediately.

Exactly, it's all about making good football decisions when there are just a couple of minutes to go. Ironically it's something that I think we've got worse at over the course of time. Instinctively you'd expect us to get better at it the more often you do it but it's got worse imo. Last season I think we see that game out via several trivial/fake injuries, dubious subs etc but we've completely lost that ability now. We've become too nice and amiable
