Hell's teeth. If true, , It's fucking shocking! It's just basic common courtesy to have someone there to meet him when he lands. No excuses for that if it's true.

All refs should start a season by booking ANY show of dissent. If that means sending 6 players off and booking 8 more in a game for the first month or 2 then so be it. Once the suspensions kicked in, the dissent would stop. As an alternative, I'd award a free-kick in their own D against the team who have a player booked for dissent. The opposition would be allowed to place the ball anywhere in the D - even if it meant moving play 100 yards up the field automatically. A bit like a penalty corner in hockey.

That might be a good game actually.

It was a committee meeting, e-mailed to those who have joined/signed up. Thanks.

Well, that's a point that was also discussed. What stance should NUSC take on the new owners (whoever they may be)? That the new owners may be no better than Ashley, or (heaven help us) even worse was recognised. Basically, the stance taken is a 'guarded welcome' in that if they are here to genuinely build the club up then NUSC welcomes them, but if they're just aboput exploiting the club/supporters, obviously NUSC is going to be critical. So they've decided on a 'stance' before the club is sold to a party they don't even know? Fuck me.

I asked that. Just can't remember reading about it on here, how are people meant to turn up and give their views at such short notice, if there was any at all? In a nutshell.

Wise prepares for lengthy spell on the bog.

Was tonight's meeting announced anywhere? Tom, where did you hear about it?

I can't see there being a refund. Just another way for the club to laugh at us tbh. Can't see there being a refund. The club will say there are 23 home games in the CCC rather than the current 19. They'll just offset them I would have thought.

The difference this time being the price. £17m back then and £0 now. He'd go back in a shot imo. Maybe Man City?

How many 'away' season tickets were sold in the summer just out of interest?

It sounds very Wimbledon to me. Would like to think we can take a professional approach to things, rather than nipping out for a bacon sarnie. But that saying, let him do what he wants, nothing he does really matters. Pretty much agree with that tbh. Clough took his players out on the piss the night before they won the European Cup too!
-
I'd imagine the players are stuck in a bit of a rut at the minute and morale must, understandably, be at a pretty low ebb too. Breaking the cycle of training, playing and moping about the place by nipping to the coast for bacon sarnies isn't the crime of the century and I can understand why he's done it. Change of scenery, routine, try to build some morale up etc... That said they still fucking lost.

If we're in the bottom 3 at the end of the season we'll deserve to go down. Simple as. I don't think we're one of the weakest teams in the League but that counts for fuck all. Once we get a bit of stability on and off the park I think we'll get enough points to stay up. It really shouldn't even be an issue though.
-
you reckon he actually thought that after the entire summer of getting in players he didn't want then right at the end they'd get in players he wanted ? I haven't mentioned the players 'he' wanted. Just numbers of quality players for stregthening the squad. I assume he believed them, which is why he has been a mug. They cant be trusted and thank f*** they are going, albeit with full pockets. Keegan made it quite clear the managers should be in complete control of the transfer policy at a club: The crux of it come down to when it first occurred to Keegan he wasn't in control of who came into and left the club. Once that has been established, we can take it from there. Until then, I'll question the timing of Keegan walking away.

As much as someone is prepared to pay for it.

You were wearing a man u top to a toon game?? I had Chelsea shorts on though? It is no way to treat a man in front of his wife in a public toilet. Excuse my bad English I am from Mumbai, it is hard to speak here. Surely this has got to be a joke? I'm not saying it's OK to have people pissing on you, but to me it sounds like you ask for some sort of reaction when you turn up at SJP in a man utd shirt combined with a chelski shorts. It's a pretty funny outfit to wear in the first place And tbh your situation has little to do with you the fact that you are a foreign supporter, different skin color etc. I'd be a fool to attend the West Ham - Newcastle match in April wearing my toon kit among the WHU fans or even show up with the Toon Army wearing a sunderland shirt. (god forbid that, what's sunderland's kit anyway? Do they have any at all? ) GOLD.

He was excellent today. Looked a real handful and would be a fantastic buy. I'm sure the top 4 will have seen him too, however.

Who is actually on the (interim?) committee of NUSC? Does anyone know? Had a look on the website but I couldn't find any names.

"Injuries are not an excuse, they're a reason." G. Souness He put it down to the hard pitches because of the weather. The fucking wanker.

We got to be happy they lost or we would of been sitting at number 20 spot 19th or 20th, we'd still have major problems regardless. Yeah but being bottom would be another low point. 20th has a stigma attached that 19th & 18th don't even though if you occupy them positions after game 38 your team is still going down. Right, that's fine then...
