  1. why should it be locked ? Fact is, it won't be unless people like you continue denying the obvious. If you read around, lots of people say the same. Who cares what Macbeth or Mick think? No point to this thread. you could equally say there are many threads that have "no point". Its got just as much as any other thread. Plenty of people cared what they thought a year ago. If your point is to rub people's faces in it then I'm locking it tbh. Especially when they're not even fucking here.
  2. You fishing NE5? Surely you know they've not logged on for quite a while...
  3. Shocker. We can't afford to keep him on Premiership wages when we've got Krul on the bench. No vendetta (this time).
  4. The only ones I'd be disappointed to lose would be Krul, Beye, Bassong, Enrique and Gutierrez. The rest can fuck right off. The 'must move on' list would be: Harper, Coloccini, Cacapa, Butt, Smith, Duff, Barton, Geremi, Owen, Viduka & Martins. (Fucking how much in wages do that shower of wank take out of the club every week??) Time to blood the kids too.
  5. No it's not! If the person was a friend or associate of Ashley's it would mean a great deal. A picture of shirt and wearer would be useful. It's just not something I can get worked up about, sorry. If you want to vent spleen then feel free but it won't change anything.
  6. Irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Couldn't give a shit what he (whoever he is) had on his shirt.
  7. We could draw and stay up, or we could win and still go down. I hope I'm wrong obviously but I think Hull and ourselves will both get turned over.

About an 8, I suppose. There is still a chance that Man U will turn Hull over and we'll pick up a point but it's highly unlikely. Today's result was a huge blow and one we may not recover from for quite a while. If we do go down then I hope the club has a complete overhaul and is re-built from scratch.
  9. They're a better team than us but they've won most of their points at the Cottage this season. On neutral ground I'd say they'd beat us but up here, with the crowd behind us and in full cry I think we'll win.
  10. i understand some of this. look coldly at fulhams stats and they aren't massivly impressive, especially away and maybe they are being overpraised because of who they are. definitly winnable but nowhere near a cert. I'm hoping it'll be one of those stupid quirks in football whereby a team waits for ages for a home win, gets it, then immediately goes on to win the next one too. Seriously though, we should be more than a match for them up here.
  11. Fulham aren't that good - especially away from home. We've beaten Villa and Spurs - drawn with Everton, City and competed for long spells against Arsenal and Chelsea. We're more than capable of beating this lot up here and our lot should be right up for it after Monday night. One more win keeps us up and I honestly think we can do it. Score first and hopefully that'll take a bit of pressure off. C'mon United. 2-0

    Those flags.

He's going to make out that's what he meant anyway now.

I never had a problem with Enrique before though. He's always looked competent enough to me. Especially when Keegan was in charge. It was just that halfwit Kinnear who had a problem with him. I know Keegan wanted cover but I don't remember him coming up pretty much slating Enrique in the press. Don't think he ever criticised him outright, but Allardyce didn't seem keen on him. Strange, especially since we've seen glimpes of his quality and how good he can be. Even stranger was the fact he bought the fucker in the first place and immediately didn't fancy him tbh.

35% chance of going down according to this
  15. That's a real shame. Nothing trivial I hope?

The bookies make Hull 1/3 to go down. Not the be-all and end-all obviously but it's looking much, much healthier than this time last month.
  17. Virtually finished as a player imo. Doesn't deserve a new contract based on his performances and I hope he moves on in the summer. He used to be fantastic but he looks a shadow - maybe it's the team he's in not creating chances for him but he's giving nothing to NUFC atm. Absolutely nothing.
  18. Tremendous stuff. Respect to Shearer for having the balls to haul off Owen. £17m, £100k a week, club captain and one of his best mates in the game but he wasn't getting the job done so he subbed him. Took a lot of bollocks to do that and leaves me thinking he might just be the nasty bastard to rip the club apart and re-build it regardless of what division we're in next season. Fucking giddy uuuuup.
  19. Hope you told him to get this fucking economy sorted.
  20. Personally I'd revert back to a straight knock-out competition. No seedings, just luck of the draw. Aye, would be nice but it'll never happen surely. Too much money in the group stages. Groups mean more matches. More matches means more money. More money means the good teams get better and qualify more often. Rinse and repeat til neutrals lose interest. Might be a while like...
  21. If Michael Owen stuck his head in a hot oven and his feet in a freezer, on average he'd be comfortable.
