Think he smashed his cheekbone. Long time ago now Google the battle of Bramall Lane

Seemed like an inevitable move eventually. Let's face it, we're owned by a horrible regime and we're going to get a load of stick in the media for the foreseeable. It's the trade off that's been discussed on here many times, if we're happy to accept the benefits of the Saudis pumping millions into the club then we've got to take it on the chin when the (largely justified) criticism comes our way. Don't see how you can have it both ways

Who the fuck creates a Chomp sandwich?
-
No. One after the other. Crunchie first then Chomp to mop up the cinder toffee deliciousness
-
Are we really just naming chocolate bars and shit like that? Ok fine, I'll go a Chomp & Crunchie combo

Any new rumours lads? Can tell it's the middle of August

Liverpool are updating their dossier as we speak. The snidey little cunts

Thing is though, in some ways, they've been sensible. They've bought mainly young, talented, valuable players who should improve under a good manager. I don't think they have any particular desire to have any of them and they look like they've just gone shopping and now have a squad full of assets (for want of a better word) that should appreciate in value. They have some many of these assets now that, at any point in the next 3 or 4 years, they can probably sell for whatever they paid for them. This allows them to get out of any financial bother quickly. It's vile that they seem to see the players as pieces of meat that can be frozen and stockpiled but that's where we are.

So Maguire wants the pay off from Man U AND the signing on bonus from West Ham? Pay me to leave, pay me to join. Fuck me. England's CB
-
I mean, even without KdB, they're still the best team on the planet. They've just won the treble and I think they'd beat the Argentina WC final team tbh, they're not unbeatable but doing it at the Etihad would be a huge huge ask. We've got nothing to lose as most fans expect City to win anyway. I'd snap your arm off at the shoulder for a point

Again, absolutely spot on. No issue with it being there it's just not for me personally. I'd also like to think it gets used as a space for conferences and conventions all year round and through the week too. The more cash coming into the till the better from a FFP point of view

Villa cut through our press at ease at times in the States last month and I'm sure that was in Emery's thinking - squeeze up and deny space for us to play out to force the mistake etc. Changing formation for that pre-season game looks like a masterstroke from Howe in hindsight
-
Of course, yeah And if it brings in lots of revenue and people are happy to pay it then it's all good, hope they enjoy every minute. Just not my bag
-
Probably, aye. Even so, it's just not me.
-
That's what I'm getting at. I was lucky enough to get into a box for a fixture and really enjoyed it but I'm not sure I'd like to be there for a full season. Quite like being in the cheap seats, I don't think I move in those circles tbh. I certainly wouldn't fit in
-
Honestly don't think I'd like to watch the match in that environment
-
He'll have no trouble there
-
Horrendous, significant decision. It's a 2 point decision essentially. 2 free points - there you go, boom
-
That's outrageous
-
He's absolutely smashed him ffs

Pitch invader has shown more urgency than any Man U player tbf
-
Man U hanging on. At home. To Wolves They're going to win but they look fucking rank
-
Plus - who would want to live in Brighton eh?
-
Did Man U just meet for the first time in the car park at half 7? They couldn't give a single fuck based on this, really surprising and poor from them.
