Key summer for him - 2 years and ticking to go on his contract. Not shoving him out of the door but the longer it goes without a contract extension the more likely it is that he leaves. Decision needs to be made in the next few weeks, keep him or flip him? Happy to keep him fwiw, I like him, he's entertaining and gives a shit about the club. On the other hand he's probably worth a few quid (in this window) but his value will only go south from here on in if nothing happens. He doesn't feel like a 'unit player' to me though, he's more individual talent. Tonali strikes me as a perfect unit player who can drop into the team and function immediately every game, ASM isn't that type of player imo.
