  1. Agree with that. The amount of times the ball goes out for a throw in and the linesman deliberately waits for the ref to decide which way it goes before flagging in agreement is ridiculous. They're there to make decisions like that but haven't got the courage of their convictions to do so. And it's fucking annoying.
  2. i have never seen a better atmosphere in an all seated SJP than a standing SJP, So to me that would suggest standing means a hell of alot to an atmosphere. Also no one rely's on the ultras for an atmosphere most just take the piss out of them which yet again proves my point about how less people care about atmosphere. As for one game when the ground was buzzing woopdyfuckingdoo. and for anyone wondering i sit in the gallowgate upper and aint a toon ultra but the stick they get off some people is embarrassing. Cheers for backing us mate. Can I really ask why we get so much stick too? What difference is there between us and the Leazes/Gallowgate ends of the past, or other singing sections. We are just doing what half of you used to do, but we have to be an organisation now to do it, due to the lack of singing sections. People should fuck off home if they don't like an atmosphere or want to ridicule those that do want one. But that's only my opinion, no offence anyone. You sort of answered your question 3 sentences later. Try to avoid telling your fellow Newcastle fans to 'fuck off' and you might just win a few more friends. Just an idea like...
  3. 6th place always used to get a uefa cup spot automatically. Aye, I thought we were awarded 3 places in the UEFA Cup (1 in the League and 1 for each Cup).
  4. Cut our losses and get whatever we can for him this summer.
  5. Sick of hearing the kerb-crawling, greasy, fat pervert. Who on Earth decided it would be a good idea to ask Pleat for an opinion regarding a Cup final involving Spurs? Hardly impartial is he?
  6. I don't care what anyone thinks now. A stadium full of whiners, boo boys and negative attitudes will have us hoping that the Clubs below us don't collect half a dozen more points cos we'll get none and be screwed. Just making the point that from Crumpy at least, this is not something he's suddenly decided. Like a lot of people seem to do. Yep. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=49034.0
  7. Got to say congratulations to Spurs. Since we beat them back in the middle of October they've: Sacked Jol, appointed Ramos, won a cup (beating Arsenal, City (a) and Chelsea in the process), shot up the League, made it into the last 16 of the UEFA Cup, the last 8 of the FA Cup and qualified for Europe next season. We've sacked Allardyce, appointed Keegan and won 3 games of football. Credit where it's due. They've really pushed on and are moving forward quickly.

    FA Cup 5th Round

    Dirty little bastard...
  9. Why should the price be different for people wanting to stand. I cant imagine the overheads of the grey plastic seat being 100's of £'s different to standing. I'm guessing that standing would allow more people to occupy the same area as opposed to seating. It alway cost less to stand than it did to sit...
  10. If clubs were allowed to have a reasonably small, safe standing area they could quite easily reduce the price of a season ticket to make it more affordable for the normal gadgy. Can't see it happening like but it would be nice.

    FA Cup 5th Round

It's "bummed in the face time" tbph.

    FA Cup 5th Round

That could well be game over.
  13. Wouldn't mind us having a mixture of black, white, grey, blue, red & gold seats like Sporting Lisbon do/did. Obviously in the right proportions according to the club crest etc. but if it was done properly then I think it would look ace.
  14. At the end of the day, it's just another advert. The place is awash with them. One more, as tacky/cheap as it looks, doesn't make any difference at all tbh. Some people have a canny warped sense of the what's wrong with the club if they're kicking off at a fucking advert.
  15. I thought Seedorf was about 34, he has been around and known to me for the entirety of my football-loving life. Just a pup when he won the Champions League with Ajax in 95. A staggering career to look back on when he eventually calls it a day.
  16. Sam's obviously close to getting another job. Coventry or someone like that...
  17. Not going to write him of just yet but it isn't looking good is it? If this is the end of his career then it'll be a real shame. He burst onto the scene and became the most dangerous forward in the world for a few seasons. Injuries and distractions off the field robbed the game of him when he should have been at his peak. He'll be remembered in different ways by different people - some will remember the overweight and under-motivated Ronaldo. I'll try to remember him ripping defences to bits. It'll be a sad way for a career to come to an end.
  18. Not quite sure exactly how they decided he didn't chin him. Don't like him or rate him that much but I'd still rather he was available for selection. For what it's worth like...
  19. Surely its better to have this thread come up from time to time then have the site shut down? Surely its better for the members to read the fuking rules. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=19161.0 TBF though, the admin only have themselves to blame, they edit out far too many posts when bannings should be handed out. My personal opinion on the matter; make examples of the thick shits who cannot or simply can't be arsed to read. Surely Nazi admin wouldn't try to solve a little problem by editing posts rather than just banning someone? This can't be right....
  20. Read the first post in this thread. Particularly the bit about the 2 week ban and avoiding work-arounds.
  21. Except they were. Which is why I had to edit them. It's like a 'Do Not Press' button. For some reason, despite being expressly asked not to do something, they just fucking ignore it and post them anyway. Just don't do it - it's canny easy really...
  22. Aye they looked like the Arsenal of last season tonight. Plenty of possession and chances but they just didn't quite click. Still good to watch though.
  23. Good good Would much rather they won the title than Man Utd. 19 Premiership goals for Adebayor now. He's nee Shola like.
  24. Two nil. Adebayor That's 9 in 9 or something like that. 5 points clear now...
