Agree with the sentiment but he's counted Higginbotham and Jones twice. And Gordon was £9m. They've spent about £37m on shite imo.

4th in the League all the way for me. A 38 game slog to finish 4th in one of the most competitive leagues in Europe or a flukey 6 game run to get to a cup final? I know which one deserves the CL spot. I can see the logic behind enhancing the FA Cup but I think a spot in the UEFA Cup is reward enough. I also agree that the UEFA Cup winners should get a CL spot the following season.

Harte looked slow in 2002 for fuck's sake.

The mackems have signed Ian Harte....

I never see how earning £x thousand a week has anything to do with it though. Its still going to fucking hurt and still mean he is out for however long no matter how much he earns. but why do i have an obligation to go awwwwwwww how unfortunate, when anything bad happens to anyone. He's broken his leg, i disslike West Ham, and i think he's been a cock. Why can't i laugh? If this is what it takes for you to get a laugh then it says an awful lot about you tbh. Just fucking sickening to think that some folk are loving the fact he's had his shin broken in two.

When the dick couldn't wait to get away from us despite sticking with him for a countless number of years. I never wish serious injury upon anybody but it serves him right for wanting away from us. You serious? It serves him right? Jesus fucking wept.
-
Genuinely struggling to believe some of the comments on here tbph. When did we suddenly turn into a pack of twats who revel in a serious injury to another club's player?
-
I don't like the little shit-weasel but I can't be pleased that he's just had his leg snapped.
-
Desperately needed the central blue stripe. It's not bad but it just looks 'unfinished' tbh. Like the kit designer started it and got bored, ran out of ideas, missed the deadline and just handed what they'd done so far. Can't say I'll be buying it like...
-
We should be looking to take 3 points from a weak, poor Boro squad. The look absolute shite this year.
-
The Harry Redknapp link is also preposterous. Got a feeling in my bones tbh... Probably bollocks like... Get to the doctors. Touche! Wouldn't rule it out tbh. I can think of loads worse candidates than him.

Should grow up then, the bunch of twats. Its ok, the school holidays are over soon Btw, school isnt usually on at the weekends. Or at 7:45 at night. Idiot. Homework Idiot Pathetic comeback. Suppose there wasn't anything else you could really reply with though, with you being proved wrong and made to look an idiot and everything... Idiot. You 2 need your heads banging together tbh.

Anelka is a far better player than Martins will ever be. He's got the lot imo. First touch, vision, control, can run onto a through-ball, can bring others into play and can finish. Martins is raw and he'll get better with good coaching but I'd rather have the finished article, thanks. Martins is good, Anelka is better.

We could equally not trust him. It won't make much difference either way. That's fair enough. blueyes.gif I was just trying to point out that we don't really have any choice in the matter. He owns the joint lock stock and barrel. He can do what he wants, whe he wants, how he wants and there's not a thing we can do about it. He's taken us off the Stock Market, which is his prerogative, and I'm assuming that the club won't be publishing any accounts for the foreseeable... We've got a choice - back him and the club, whilst crossing our fingers behind our backs, or turn on him and question his intentions. I'll go for the former thanks. Actually, it's true that if we choose to trust him -- because trusting or not trusting is actually a choice -- the result will be a happier, more confident club. In for a penny, in for a pound. Don't see how questioning his intentions will do any good whatsoever tbh. My glass is half full and I'm pleased a billionaire owns us and, by all accounts, wants to make a go of things up here. He deserves a bit of backing/trust imo. Just my 2 cents.

It would be naive to think that Ashley has bought the club out of the goodness of his heart. He simply hasn't. In my opinion, he's bought us so he can make a few quid. Hopefully he realises that the best way to use NUFC to make money is to make it as successful as possible on the park and maximise the income it will generate. We've got no safety net though. If it goes tits-up and he drops us like a hot potato then we'd be left well and truly in the shit. It's a risky situation for all concerned tbh. For him and for us. I'd like to think he trusts us to continue backing the team and buying tickets, merchandise etc but we've also got no choice but to trust him too. The thought of him selling the club for a knockdown price to anyone, should it go tits-up, doesn't bear thinking about. We've got no choice - we've got to trust him.

Why? if he can't do his job properly the last thing he should be getting is a pat on the back. Will the public slagging and a week off make him a better referee? Thought not. Would going "he did well" make him better/good enough? Also, no. That's fair enough. Just trying to point out that slagging him off in public won't do anyone any good. Any criticism from his boss should have been kept private. Hackett should have acknowledged the mistake and supported him. He would have needed to have chosen his words carefully mind.

If my boss came out and publically slated me the way Hackett did to Styles, I'd be fucking livid. blueyes.gif

It's like a scene from One flew over the cuckoo's nest tbh. Play the game James, play the game!
